BUSINESS INNOVATION
• Identified a need and built a new team dedicated to pitching and winning new clients for
the agency. This included defining the necessary roles, the process to execute, the price
of the consulting engagement and the deliverables provided to the client.
• Collaborate with fellow executive leaders to define and communicate success for the agency.
• Consistently analyze, craft solutions and manage implementation to ensure our offerings and
pricing stay competitive and our processes, roles and tools are built to fulfill our growth goals.

ESTABLISHING CLIENT SUCCESS
• Lead a brilliant, multidisciplinary team, in crafting and presenting data-backed, creative
solutions for our client’s growth goals, leading to over $11.25M in revenue. How do we do that?
• We conduct and synthesize primary and secondary market research to define where to focus
our efforts for maximum growth, and to help us strategically position the brand to resonate
in the hearts and minds of their target audience and zig when their competitors zag.
• We then design comprehensive marketing systems, that drive our targets from awareness
to referrals, and establishes clear and measurable KPIs to track and evaluate success.
• Whilst ensuring all concurrent projects are managed to deadlines, on budget, and are fun.

LEADERSHIP + MANAGEMENT
• Listen compassionately and guide the team through both technical and interpersonal
challenges, promoting an environment where individuals feel supported and confident
in expressing and overcoming obstacles.
• Encourage team members to autonomously and collaboratively address challenges
by providing the freedom to develop and implement solutions.
• Organize and lead professional development initiatives to encourage growth and curiosity
within the team and ensure learnings are implemented to improve our work and relationships.

Director of Strategy – New Business

INNOVATION
• Use design thinking to build meaningful experiences, such as brands, content and websites
• Help SMB’s with small budgets achieve big results by finding innovative ways to spend their budgets
• Identified a need to address some of our own challenges and established my current, hybrid role to solve for those

ESTABLISHING SUCCESS
• Conduct both qualitative and quantitative research and use the insights generated to inform our creative ideas
• Define and validate KPIs to ensure we are making a difference to our client’s businesses and their customers
• Design A/B tests to validate and challenge our assumptions

MANAGEMENT
• Lead new business team in crafting and pitching compelling solutions to our client’s growth goals, leading to over $2.25M in revenue
• Develop and collaborate with my brilliant creative teams
• Manage up and down to drive my success, the success of my teams and of the agency

CLIENT ENGAGEMENT
• Partner with clients from 20+ industries (Ex. Technology, Finance, Healthcare, Education)
• Communicate weekly with C-Suite executives and stakeholders and present our ideas to them in both a digestible and inspiring way
• Facilitate both client and internal working sessions

Senior Brand Strategist

We listen, we research, we strategize and go with our gut. Crafting smart, unique brands that connect meaningfully, is what we do. You’ll find me creating a content strategy one hour and directing a video shoot the next, (who am I kidding, shoots are rarely that quick). I am a creative lead on multiple teams partnering with ten clients to create brand and marketing strategies, websites, business essentials, sales collateral, digital ads, you name it. If it’s right for the client, it’s what I’m doing. There’s never a dull moment.

Senior Art Director

I was lucky enough to be brought in as a member of the small team that branded and launched Impact’s marketing agency. This allowed me to work closely with upper management from the onset to acquire vital branding and marketing knowledge that has fast-tracked my career to where it is today. This has also exposed me to the excitement and change that comes with rapid growth, going from a 10 person agency to 100 in just 2 years, and we’re not stopping any time soon.

I initially entered the creative world through fine art, meticulously drawing with graphite and ink. Nowadays I use that love to create full brand identities, illustrations, murals, you name it, I’ll design it.

Working at a small start-up gave me the opportunity to work closely with both the the Marketing Director and the Director of Sales to design and distribute our marketing materials. This allowed me to see first hand how vital branding and marketing is to making a sale.

Graphic Design Intern

This internship provided me with hands-on public relations experience for Wagstaff's hospitality clients, which aligned with my love of food and travel (as I’m sure most people share). More importantly though, it gave me the insight I needed to guided my career path. With little opportunity to design and create everyday, I was able to understand how vital the creative environment is for me.

LK Mahmood puts her passion for learning and creative problem solving to work every day as the Director of Strategy – New Business at Impact Networking’s Managed Marketing division. Strategizing with her team allows her to balance logic and intuition to create solutions that resonate. Her curiosity about the way people think feeds her creativity and fuels her process. Always focused on evolution, she enjoys working collaboratively, learning alongside and developing her talented team. 

LK is also passionate about health and wellness and will gladly share her knowledge – all in a British accent, of course, as she hails from the UK.
