Content Strategist

1) Leveraging creator, influencer, brand, and strategic partnerships freelance consulting for clients in the health & wellness, health technology, and better for you CPG categories.

Front-to-end services, including: sourcing, negotiating contracts, seeding product, long-term relationship building, helping to co-create content and inform content direction. 

2) Offering front-to-end content strategy services within women's health, mental health, nutrition, and fitness/athletics: including developing an overarching and competitive strategy, planning/forecasting on a monthly/weekly cadence, constructing outlines, finding well positioned freelance copywriters or personally, self-generating the copy. Strong suit is long- and short-form editorial and social (blog, affiliate swipe copy, Instagram/TikTok asset co-creation, podcast talking points/audio). 

For additional context: my strengths are content strategy and forecasting, creative direction, and long- and short-form copywriting. I work extremely well alongside designers, illustrators, and motion graphic artists. Though, I do take frequent spins in Canva Pro, Figma, and Photoshop when needed 😊

Rescripted

Content and creator partnerships swiss army knife. Working on anything with words involved and activating brand partnerships by collaborating with organically aligned creators.

Rescripted is the largest global women's health media platform, reaching 9MM women monthly. Rescripted's thesis is that Sex Ed in America is broken, which is showing up today in the variety of chronic women's health conditions we now see across the board — from infertility to PCOS to thyroid dysfunction to period issues to autoimmunity — it seems just about no woman is immune to dealing with at least 1 ailment in the modern world.

We learn more about how to abstain from using our bodies in Sex Ed than we do about how they actually work. And when you don't know your body and how to work with it, you can never channel it, improve it, or utilize it in the ways you'd like. 

Rescripted is flipping the script around women's health by teaching women body literacy and how to leverage their own body as their greatest teacher. We're the "Google for Women's Health," providing women with the tools, resources, content, and community they need from their first period to their last.

ŌURA

When it comes to our health, seeing is believing—get on Oura to build awareness in how your behaviors and actions impact your sleep and recovery.

I help Oura communicate to our users how the body works and how the science behind our product is built to mirror their biosignals accurately, and consistently. I educate on our product features and strategically create new experiences for our users that strive to meet them where they are in their health journeys. I prioritizing building direct ties with our community, empathizing with their needs, and reflecting their voices back to them through content built to support their lifestyle with Oura and understanding of the whole self.

Part project manager, part content developer—I’m comfortable flexing between content deliverables, types, audiences, and channels and working with quick turnarounds. I’ve been able to learn a diversity of different content, creative, and PM skillsets on the job being thrown into various projects with unmapped territory. I take a heavily data-driven, scholarly-research, and segmented approach to making all content timely, personalized, and actionable.

Neurocrine Biosciences

•Created a solution-driven roadmap of digital transformation and virtual engagement strategies for future adoption within medical affairs and cross-functional departments 

•Created storyline materials outlining the discovery of TAK-041 (an orphan G-coupled protein receptor agonist), its mechanism of action, and potential for therapeutic use in anhedonia as a negative symptom of treatment-resistant depression / schizophrenia

•Evaluated the efficacy of current treatment options for anhedonia (the inability to experience pleasure) and evolving alternatives

Medical Communications

•Constructed an evidence-based research library to serve as a consumer interface to educate on the nutritional integrity of the product and validate its effectiveness; focus on gathering higher quality and updated studies, enhancing receptivity of the storyline, improving site navigation/appeal and applying relevant user analytics to deepen brand connectivity

•Merged academic content into additional brand/social media marketing pieces to educate consumers on the physiological mechanisms that differentiate the product and guided its original entry into market; focus on giving users a digestible understanding of their biological-self and how it can be maximized through nutrition

Content Marketing

USC Brain and Creativity Institute 

•Assistance in the A-Z Lab, whose current research focuses on understanding properties of the mirror neuron system and shared representations as it relates to neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder and developmental coordination disorder, stroke and neurorehabilitation, contextual effects on empathy, embodied cognition, social communication, visual creativity and the gut-brain connection 

•Specific contribution to the emBody project which analyzes differences in how children with autistic spectrum disorder and developmental coordination disorder experience sensitized emotion 

•Transcribed, coded and organized videotaped subject interviews to document consistencies, facial and tonal affects, non-behavioral cues, variations in responses, etc.; used this collection of information to run meta-analysis with an end goal of determining if supported statistical patterns could be applied to enhance the early-intervention process in ASD to teach empathetic skills through the nature of embodied cognition

Research Assistant

USC Panhellenic Council

•Established strong partnerships with campus resources, student/staff leaders and organizations (including non-profits) in the Greater Los Angeles Area that aligned with physical, mental and emotional health awareness initiatives 

•Launched campaigns that promoted and maintained wellness among all Greek affiliated members, including sexual violence and alcohol misuse prevention, stress-relief facilitation, mindfulness training, etc.; executed this through use of focus groups and teaching member representatives within each chapter on how to generate improved outcomes based on the structure/makeup of their organization in relation to the whole community

•Planned and executed interactive and health-focused events made available to the Panhellenic Community; coordinated and implemented Intersorority Intramural Program

•Produced a series of comprehensive research reports (including visuals, statistical summaries and creative solutions) for 15 new product launches based on category and consumer trends, sales data, and scholarly research findings; my presentations offered competitive pricing strategies, original product innovations based on trending skews and opportunistic foresight, and unique branding and marketing approaches that were directly applied in product roadmapping process

•Constructed individual project goals and deadlines in Asana to ensure that the timeline for each launch was actualized and met with supporting details to advance all stages of development

•Analyzed modern pharmaceutical inactive ingredient safety and efficacy to provide education to consumers on the importance of cleaner, organic replacements within this segment; created company product differentiators to show clean-cut comparison against leading brands whose products did not uphold the same non-synthetic integrity 

•Created an original Genexa "ex-list" library, consisting of synthetic inactive ingredients contained in competitor products and the academic research to back their potential harm to the human body

•Generated blog posts for the company website centered around receptive health findings/data supported by academic research to provide evidence-based insight into the field of wellness

•Developed original social media content, scripts and visual display (Instagram/Instagram Story) for further customer education, branding and lifestyle recommendations 

•Initiated outreach to highly-regarded pediatricians across the nation for product approval and recommendation

Being 13 years into remission from a rare autoimmune disease called Dermatomyositis with no known cause or cure has inspired me to contribute to advancements in health innovation so present day patients aren’t constrained by the same limitations I faced growing up in a disintegrated system with limited access to alternative treatment options and digestible information. 

I am incredibly passionate about democratizing health information, making it seamless to understand, and actionable to weave into any lifestyle. 

I deeply value the scientific method. I invite you to challenge me on my position. I am in a continuous, ever-evolving pursuit of excellence. I love connecting with other inspired learners and leaders, driven to make a change in their field of dedication. 

My background walking onto a division-1 sport without any prior experience now bleeds into my professional endeavors. I take a bias toward action to identify critical growth channels, fine-tune messaging that connects with a community, and meets them in the moment. I’m passionate about building win-win relationships, leading with value, and aligning mission statements. 

I find passion working in fast-paced, ambiguous, and challenging environments with agile and highly collaborative team members. 

My unsolicited advice: Be unexpected. Set a new standard—with your actions, before your words. Be an advocate. Step up. Ask difficult questions. Make room for others at your table, especially those who don’t look or act like you. The race starts at mile 20, don’t give in.
