During the Global Blockchain Show in Abu Dhabi I shared my perspective on how I view gaming as infrastructure. The virtual worlds built through engines like Unity and Unreal are not just experiences. They are the base layer of a new digital economy.

As we move beyond smartphones into wearables and smart glasses, the virtual layer will expand into our physical world. That shift could unlock an entirely new virtual GDP, and Web3 and blockchain may play a critical role in enabling trust and financing this next evolution.

Gaming is no longer just play. It may be the backbone of what comes next.

On the edge of generative art and immersive media, Raven Kwok’s "1D985" unfolds as an astonishing system in motion 🌌✨

1D985 began as a generative structure—an evolving field shaped through code, repetition, and variation. Later, it expanded into an immersive audiovisual experience, where form and sound (by 3ASiC) continuously reorganize in space.

The work was also used to visualize the concept of “Big Bang Computation” in the Netflix documentary A Trip to Infinity, with Kwok contributing to the production.

This video was captured by the artist at UFO Terminal, Shanghai, as part of the Loading…Access exhibition.
