The best clients don’t come from viral posts

They come from the conversations you started 

They come from the trust you built.

They come from the outcome you delivered.


To have great clients stop obsessing over 
going viral. 

Instead build a business that doesn’t need you to be viral.


Start with :

Understanding what is the outcome you can deliver

Understanding what is that you want to be known for.

Understanding who you can serve and why.


Remember : Great clients build great businesses.

Ghosting clients after their final payment.

Is a huge mistake.

I check in with every client I've ever worked with.

Not to sell them something.
But to see how they're doing.

Last week, I reconnected with a client from 1 year ago to see how everything was going. 

He shared he landed an incredible speaking gig because of the brand we built.

It was a proud moment.

And making this habit taught me that:

Every check-in strengthens the relationship.
Every win they share becomes social proof.
Every struggle is a chance to help again.

And yes, many come back.

Not because I pitched them.
But because the trust never left.

So remember your past clients aren't just testimonials. They're your community.

And The relationship doesn't  need to end 
at "thank you for your business."

P.S. When was the last time you checked in on a past client just because?

"Just be consistent." It's terrible advice. 

Post daily. Show up. Stay visible. Even more vague. 

 Here's what it's important to understand:

Consistency without strategy is just noise.

You can post every day for 3 months. 
But if there's no clarity behind it, nothing happens.

⁃ No DMs.
⁃ No leads.
⁃ No growth.

I've seen it happen.
Founders posting constantly. Getting likes.
But attracting the wrong people. Or no one at all.

Because they were 'consistent' with content.
Instead of being consistent with their message.

What actually works:

→ Know who you're talking to.
→ Know what outcome you offer.
→ Know what you want to be known for.

Then show up with intention.

Consistency builds momentum.
But clarity builds clients.

Remember:
Posting more doesn't mean growing more.
Posting with purpose does.

My first client changed everything.

5 years ago, I was a video producer testing 
if I could coach.

Ran a beta program. 
Similar to what I offer today.
But I was terrified.

She was a full-time YouTuber.
Wanted to build her Instagram strategically.
We worked together for 6 weeks.

By week 3, she said something that changed everything:

"I finally feel proud of what I'm posting."

That moment?
I knew.

This wasn't about content.
It was about strategy and alignment.

5 years and dozens of clients later, I still chase that feeling.

When Stephen stopped trying to be everything to everyone.
