After returning from a service mission for two years and starting school, I got my first college job at this call center. I was on outbound for about three months and since I did well, I guess they wanted me to take inbound calls. We received calls from people looking to repair their credit and we'd sell a one hundred dollar monthly service that sent letters to their creditors to remove items and fix potential errors.

HYFN is a digital media agency in Playa Vista, CA. At HYFN, I manage two separate software products. One is a tool that helps businesses run effective local social advertising. The other is an influencer marketing solution. My responsibilities include developing the product roadmap, interviewing users, prioritizing features, and holding the product vision. I collaborate with development, design, UX, and sales to ensure successful product delivery.

While working at Represent, I helped start and grow a new division of the business that created unique apparel for sports fans. I managed a team of graphic designers, marketers, and product specialists.  My responsibilities as marketing manager included building and managing and driving traffic to an e-commerce platform, developing new products, marketing products, and team leadership. I was accountable for a seven-figure portion of the company's business and reported directly to the COO.

Before founding PureFunnel, I was Director of Marketing at Represent and then Cameo. During that time, I helped the world’s top celebrities sell tens of millions of dollars of products online and raise millions for charity. People like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jennifer Aniston, Chris Hemsworth, Michael J. Fox, Gal Gadot, and Mark Ruffalo.

At Represent, I increased marketing revenue by 10x. Mostly on the back of Meta ads.

Occasionally, I’d work with ad agencies, but it almost always left me wanting more. I thought “We shouldn’t be paying this much money for someone to run ads and not do a great job.” 

The agencies were focused on the wrong metrics. They didn’t have testing frameworks. The creative they produced was scattershot and not rooted in consumer psychology. Most importantly, the results they generated were average, at best.

I thought “There must be a better way.” 

So I put my money where my mouth was and founded PureFunnel – an ads agency focused on helping startups grow.

Now, I work with passionate founders and apply everything I've learned in my 10 years in marketing.

I get to do everything I wish other agencies had done – customer research, creative testing, and proper campaign optimization. The things that get results.
