Represented DIA in cross-agency committees and working groups for both the intelligence community, Department of Defense, and the National Archives. Supported both FOIA and Privacy Act functions.

Provided records and information management support including policy, process, compliance, retention schedule development, and electronic records management for Air Force contract and the Presidential Oil Spill Commission.

Provided consulting services in the areas of records and information management including analyses of business processes, records retention schedules, policies, inventories, systems, and operational procedures. 

Revised retention schedule for a large utility. Conducted inventory and review of both electronic and physical files.  Recommended policy changes and approach to better manage the information.

Managed initial project for a large web services company to identify gaps in the existing records retention schedules based on a business process analyses and changes in existing laws. Major focus was on the creation of electronic records resulting from new products, services and technology initiatives.  Continued with team to evaluate changing information management requirements resulting from the acquisition of new subsidiaries.

Served as subject matter expert in records management for three projects involving the Department of Treasury, Office of Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), and Office of Civilian Waste Reductions and Management (OCWRM), including participation in the

•	Requirements development, conceptual design, and implementation of electronic records management systems.  Includes review and conversion of associated retention schedules and taxonomies for electronic deployment.
•	Analysis and development of processes and procedures to implement best practices in records management compatible with evolving Federal standards.
•	Participation in complete enterprise software development lifecycle (SDLC) project using CMMI standards with emphasis on requirements and logical design. Resulted in implementation of Open Text system for records management in OCC.  Involved in development of the communications plan and participated in system testing and other project related needs.
For OCRWM, also functioned as supervisor for special projects, including the validation of the records file plan and disposition schedule, e-mail management categorization compliance audit, and records management procedures to support local OCWRM users.

Telenor Satellite Services

•Responsible for the establishment and management of the Corporate Services function for the newly created U.S. business unit of Telenor ASA of Norway.  Created budget and staff objectives and managed to approved projections.
•Developed and implemented operational procedures and associated contracts for all support services including procurement, import/export, travel, records retention, shipping, US mail, supplies, etc.
•Managed procurement of all furniture and office equipment and associated services required for business relocation.  Managed physical move.
•Assigned to team responsible for writing requirements, locating, and leasing new space consistent with business objectives.  Build out of acquired space completed within 12 weeks.
•Responsible for facility management, equipment maintenance and interface with building property management.  Lead member of disaster recovery and emergency procedures implementation team.

Restructured operation of Corporate Records and Library by centralizing operations and achieving significant cost savings by outsourcing microfiliming and archival storage.
