I'm currently developing a tech platform to connect changemakers who are ready to tackle the world's most pressing issues, from poverty to climate change and inequalities. Back in 2014, I started developing an interest in international development. A few trips to Western Sahara and the largest slums in Asia and Africa opened my eyes.

Since then, I've spent a large chunk of my spare time volunteering and collaborating with non-profits. I started a local chapter of Engineers Without Borders UK and ran it for nearly 2 years. I organised events with over 50 changemakers. I became a Trustee for a homelessness charity for over a year. I went 3 months volunteering as a Team Leader in a rural village in Nepal. 

Some people spend their life looking for their purpose in life. I was lucky enough to find it at age 25. 

My purpose in life is to change the world / make a difference / make an impact / help those who need it the most / eradicate poverty / end climate change / call it however you want. 

And I've realised that the most impactful thing I can do as an individual in my life is to help connect changemakers so that they can join forces and amplify their impacts. That's why I started Good Ripple - because we do need the good ripple effect that happens when 2 changemakers come together - the power of people gets unleashed. 

I'm committed to dedicating the rest of my life to helping those who need it the most, through empowering the people who are already helping them. And I believe TechForGood is the key to achieving the SDGs by 2030.

Compile and present the quarterly review presentations to clients.

Conduct new starter training using my own PowerPoint presentations and assessment documents.
Am the “go to” person within the team and help them investigate/resolve queries.
My hard work has been recognised by the EU Technology Director who awarded me a merit and pay bonus, and by the UK Technology Director who has nominated me several times for the “Make it Happen” award.

Worked on the Mars account which consisted of Chocolate, Pet Food and Human Foods databases.
Successfully set up these databases within SLA whilst working within a small team.
Took methodical approach to data QC and created my own QC templates which were used by the other team members.
Found efficiencies and improved processes, and was made responsible for updating process documentation.
Was given an “employee of the month” award for going above the call of duty to help complete these projects on time.
Promoted to team supervisor when the projects moved to monthly deliveries.

MITIE provides a full range of site management services for many of the UK's largest public and private buildings/sites.
Conducted the recruitment and referencing of new staff for cleaning and PRM contracts at Heathrow Terminals 1, 2, 4 and 5.
Improving processes to ensure relevant new starter information was captured and staff had uniform and training booked before start date.
Worked with the external referencing company to get all of our staff airside passes within agreed deadlines. By devising new processes and a tracking database productivity was increased by 20-fold.
Promoted to team leader of the new onsite reference team who were employed to support me.

Concorde Logistics

Concorde provides its customers with a wide range of I.T. and logistics solutions.
Reported directly to the Project Manager supporting on the Home Computer Initiative (HCI) accounts and very quickly became responsible for two of the accounts.
Became heavily involved with SLA and performance reports which were sent to the board of directors each month.
After the first year I moved onto a much larger asset recovery project where I was responsible for coordinating the project from cradle to grave.
Prepared quotes based on end user requirements and coordinated all the logistical and tactical elements of the project.
Performed functional testing and created procedures when a new system was put in place.
Reported directly back to developers regarding any errors and performed regression testing.
To ensure we met our SLAs, I created a milestone report for all relevant departments and produced processing and value reports which were sent back to our Client.
