Go-to-market work looks very different than it did even a few years ago. The pace is faster, the systems are more interconnected, and the margin for error is smaller.

I’ve spent much of my career working across CRM, marketing automation, data platforms, and product-led growth. Often this work shows up during moments of scale, transition, or integration. Those moments tend to surface the same questions. What actually matters, what is getting in the way, and what needs to change first.

What I’m most interested in now is how teams make better GTM, data, and automation decisions when real-world messiness, legacy systems, and competing priorities are involved. I enjoy working across sales, marketing, customer success, and product to connect signals, simplify architectures, and bring clarity to complex environments.

In 2025, we saw real momentum from platforms like Knak, Inflection.io, and Agentforce Marketing (the artist formerly know as ExactTarget and Salesforce Marketing Cloud) moving beyond point solutions toward AI-assisted campaign operations, richer audience building, and deeper connection to underlying data.

A few ideas I’m hearing (and curious if you agree):

– Signal-driven content that adapts in real time based on behavior, not static segments
– Fewer handoffs between tools and teams—more orchestrated next-best actions

I tried to modernize the heating system in the 100-year-old house I grew up in, with help from AI.

What followed wasn’t a clean success or failure. It was a series of very reasonable recommendations, each based on partial visibility, a generalized knowledge base, and assumptions that didn’t quite match the bespoke system in front of me.

The most interesting part wasn’t that the advice was sometimes wrong. It was how easy it was to introduce new failure states by following confident guidance without fully understanding the system underneath.
