I never thought I’d leave a decades-long career at Dell Technologies to help local and service businesses, but one moment changed everything.

I had spent nearly 20 years at Dell solving business cash flow problems. My job was to turn the assets we had into more sales, faster. I enjoyed the work, but I felt removed from the true engine of the U.S. economy: small and midsized businesses.

While I had already started a coaching business on the side, everything shifted when my role was eliminated. Suddenly, the safety net was gone, but so was the ceiling.

When I first started building my company, I never imagined how deeply I would be transformed—not just as an entrepreneur, but as a human being.

Today, I work alongside brilliant minds from all corners of the globe. 

Different countries. Different ethnicities. Different languages. Different cultures. And every day, they remind me of something simple yet profound:
That beneath all these differences, we are one—just human.

At first, I was focused on the logistics: time zones, communication styles, holidays I’d never heard of. But as time passed, something magical happened. These differences didn’t divide us—they became our strength.

Working with people from such diverse backgrounds taught me to truly listen—not just to words, but to feelings. To pause before I assume. To understand before I react. It opened my eyes to traditions, values, and life stories that were so different from mine, yet somehow… beautifully similar.

In this process, I unlearned so many unconscious judgments—judgments shaped by geography, language, accents, and stereotypes. And in their place, I found a deeper understanding of what it really means to be human.

I’ve come to believe that humanity isn’t about where you come from or what language you speak—it’s about how you treat others.

Most people who give selflessly don’t do it for recognition.

There was a time in my life when I wished desperately for someone to guide me…
Someone who could show me the way, remind me of my 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡, and tell me that I wasn’t walking alone.

But life doesn’t always give us the person we need sometimes; it pushes us to 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 that person ourselves.

I learned 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 when nobody came to rescue me.
I learned 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞 when fear was the only thing standing between me and the world.
And I learned 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 when life forced me to choose between staying small or rising higher.

Today, every challenge I’ve survived has turned into 𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐝𝐨𝐦 I can share.
