I am a detail-oriented data analyst/data scientist with experience as a military defense contractor.

I am an expert in R and Excel and skilled in Python and SAS. In crunch time, I can pick up skills and new concepts. I also pride myself on the quality of my writing, and was frequently the go-to technical editor for reports while at BAE Systems.

Ten-year old me wanted to build and fix things and aspired to be an engineer, but a Statistics elective at USU showed me I could still do that and write code. I finished my BS in Statistics at Utah State University with a Chinese minor and I am currently studying a MS in Statistics at Texas A&M.

As an ambivert, I work well in group projects and in solo work. This also means I am more than willing to do presentations, or to take a backseat and let somebody else stand in the spotlight.
