HVI has been a family-owned and operated company since 2001. In 2020, Caleb stepped in on a truck and worked part-time at night and on the weekends to learn what it took to run the company from an operational and business standpoint. Caleb has started and sold his small businesses, so his experience as a young entrepreneur transfers over to his role at HVI.

Packaging and transportation topics in Uusikaupunki battery factory.
Because of organisation change, our Salo team was divided to Salo and Uusikaupunki teams. I got permanent position from Uusikaupunki battery factory and transfered there. 

I am responsible of operational topics related to transportation and packaging in the factory.  My responsibilities include transportation bookings, packaging calculations, creating new processes and much more. I really enjoy to be on top of all operational topics relating transportation and packaging. 

On top of operational work, I am also responsible of packaging and transportation topics on one upcoming project. This includes transportation and package need planning, setting up systems and other project related topics. 

I am also learning Key user tasks for SAP and VATRP for transport and package topics. 

Main programs: Excel, SAP, Different internal programs and customer's programs.

When i started, I first worked with only one production line and was responsible for it's outbound packaging topics. This included need calculations, working with external warehouses, customer and packaging suppliers. This production line was fairly new, so I participated in establishing processes and instructions. 

Later I started to work for other production line too. In this product line I was responsible for outbound and part packages. It included also packaging transports so I learned a lot about transportation world.

My former supervisors have thanked me for my can-do attitude even with difficult tasks and about my efficiency. Way I manage my own work and trying to always see the big picture, have helped me on this. 

I have been able to work in different kind of jobs and I am proud of that I have handled even the difficult situations. This have developed my stress handling capabilities and I am able to understand different fields. It can help me even in surprising situations.

Ulkoisen logistiikan pariin päätynyt tuotantotalouden insinööri Raisiosta. Tällä hetkellä työskentelen kuljetus- ja pakkausasioiden parissa akkuteollisuudessa. Käytännön kokemusta minulla on myynnistä, asiakaspalvelusta, tietokantatyöstä ja logistiikan alalta. Erityistä kiitosta esimiehiltäni olen saanut tavastani tarttua aina hankaliinkin projekteihin innolla ja nopeasta työotteestani. Näihin on auttanut hyvä oman työn johtaminen ja pyrkimys hahmottaa aina iso kokonaisuus. 
Urallani koen saavutukseksi sen, että olen päässyt tekemään erilaisia töitä ja selviytynyt kunnialla haastavistakin tilanteista. Tämä on kehittänyt erityisesti stressinsietokykyäni ja hahmotustani eri aloista. Siitä voi olla hyötyä yllättävissäkin paikoissa. 

Tiimitaitojani olen kehittänyt järjestötoiminnassa ja kouluttautumalla sen puitteissa. Erilaisten testien mukaan minun vahvuuksiani ovat tehtäväorientoituminen, ihmissuhdetaidot ja käytännöllisyys.
