The Amply Holiday Challenge is Live!!! 🎄 

We teamed up with Webflow to create a fun challenge to end the year with up $4000 prizes up for grabs 🎊 

We wanted a challenge that:

I find meaningful connection between the consumer and a product to provide value and dramatically increase sales. My career began in a newsroom where I was a passionate storyteller relating to the consumer in every way. When I discovered that being a successful marketer meant telling a companies story in a compelling way, I knew I had found my lifelong career. To me, launching new products means creating an irresistible narrative surrounding something people are yet to experience. Although those opportunities have been exciting to me, where I shine is when I reinvent a failing or underperforming product or service and provide a whole new story for it's meaning and value. I am looking for my next opportunity to tell the story of a brand's value, meaning and innovation.

Hot take. Tech is cheap. 

My tech stack for operating a small business has opened my eyes to the bonkers value you get from software. (yes that includes AI, LLMs, whatever service/software you can think of that YOU operate). 

Here's how I see it. 

A graphic designer can make $100s of dollars AN HOUR while only paying $40 a month for the Adobe Suite. 

I can use chatGPT as a personal assistant for almost anything. $20 a month. 

Filming and creating clips from a case study interview, then transcribing it into a 1 page PDF for a client. $18 a month on Riverside. 

Send out invoices? Scheduled and prepped for $18 a month. 

Send out contracts to sign? 50 cents a send. 

If there is tech out there that costs less than $100 that will significantly increase how well you can do your job - just freaking do it. 

With company funds or not. 

You're working 160+ hours a month... if you can save 2 hours of time with a tool that costs less than $100 a month... or if you can be 1% better at your job because of it...

Just do it.

Working from home has been a blessing and a curse. 

How do you stay focused? 

Especially with how much work I do on social channels for marketing, it so easy to see something and get caught up. 

Do you do podcasts? 
Movie in the background? 
Do you give your self breaks and go for a walk? Workout? 

How do you make sure you can be as effective as possible when you are plugged in, so when its time to turn it off for the family you can? 

I've got a few tricks, but I'm curious what pods/audiobooks people are listening to. 

One of my tricks may just be getting office space next year 😅

I'm glad SNL called out how gnarly ai video was only just months ago. 

But it's getting REALLY GOOD now. 

I've been working with my favorite web developer oversees on a website that has AI images and Video all throughout. 

Something that would not have been possible just months ago

Or at least my menial natural language ability would not have been able to produce. 

It's scary tech, but we've got to get good at it and embrace it. 😈
