As Director of Religious Education I coordinated and planned formation for students who do not attend Catholic School as they prepare for reception of the sacraments of the Holy Catholic Church while implementing new formation programs for our nearly 300 students.  As Director of Evangelization I help coordinated and planned for major events, international/national speakers, bible studies, and retreats as well as training leaders of these endeavors . In my time there we have increased our small group participation by over 70% and our major event participation by 75%.  We have also implemented a retreat from contractual to self-directed serving over 500 individuals in the span of 2 years.

As Campus Minister my main role was running our large group gathering each month and putting together formation and prayer pieces to enrich the faith of the students.  I also had a core team and leadership team that I helped form once a month.  The large group comprised of over 200 students and the core and leadership teams each had about 30.    In these formation sessions I used many personality, temperament, and charism tests in order to help the students understand not only themselves but their gifts in a deeper way.  After my first year we went from having 20 applicants to over 60.

In my role as theology teacher I taught two, trimester classes.  The content of the class was Sacraments of the Catholic Church for Juniors.  The class size was about 25 students.  Using material from the books, catechism, scripture, and digital media I formed my own trimester curriculum which can be re-presented in any form of religious education.  My greatest achievement was helping the students develop a time of daily prayer each day which we incorporated into our classroom.

Campus Minister/Theology Teacher

You must know that my family and my Faith in Christ and His Church are the most important things in my life. The most important moments to me are my Coffee in the morning with Jesus and those 30 minutes or so of play time after dinner on the living room floor with my kids. My wife Amanda and I have five beautiful children that we are so blessed to raise - even on the hard days! :)

I have been fortunate to work with all types of people in my Ministry career in over decade of experience working under Pastors, Principals, Bishops and with just about every age group in ministry. I'm a natural leader and builder as well as someone who loves interacting one-on-one with people in the most important and intimate times of their lives. I love public speaking and on occasion even play a little guitar and sing at local breweries in the evenings and on weekends. 

My ministerial and pastoral experience has helped me to really keep the most important things at the forefront when discussing financial protection and wealth building tools with my clients and their families. It has also afforded me some success in my field. I have earned the great honor of being a top 10 producing agent for the past two-years in a row (2023/2024) and have acquired my Fraternal Insurance Counselor designation to specialize in helping Catholic-Christian families and small businesses.

I have recently moved my Financial Practice into the small business arena as Isbell Financial Services (LLC)
