I interviewed Michel Lieben 🧠 from ColdIQ, and he said something that's going to change how I think about GTM in 2026...

"Back in the day, if you were doing a tutorial, you would just explain how to find email addresses. You'd tell people if they input a first name, last name, and company domain, they'd be able to find emails."

Then he dropped this:

"But now you can actually build a mini tool. Embed it right in your article. So if I'm writing a tutorial on how to find email addresses, I don't just explain how it works. I let you experience it. You input your first name, last name, company website... and it just works."

This morning I was scrubbing my dishwasher with a toothbrush at 5:30am.

Phone flashlight in one hand. White vinegar in the other. Lights off so I don't wake the kids.

We switched to "non-toxic" dishwasher pods.

AKA non-effective. Weeks of grime built up. Black and brown stuff everywhere.

I couldn't finish cleaning it before dinner yesterday, so I pushed it to this morning.

Woke up at 4:45am. Dishes everywhere, I barely found a coffee mug.

Did my Bible study then...dishwasher duty.

Finally finished 45 minutes later. Ran a cleaning cycle. Threw out some trash.

Checked the baby monitor. Toddler's awake.

Breakfast mode. Wife & I get everyone downstairs, prep, table set. 

And just like that, my morning was gone before I touched any work.

My normal schedule looks like this: time with the Lord, work block, family time, then back to work.

Old me would've called this a failure.

But here's what I'm learning (painfully):

"I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth."
- 1 Corinthians 3:6-7

I don't generate the increase in my company. Or my family. Or anything productive in my life.

God does.

As much as I plan my time out (which is good).

As much as I think strategically about the future (which is wise).

There are going to be days where it's painfully obvious that I'm not in control.

And that's not a bug. It's a feature.
Life isn't a formula where more time in = more output out.

God is the one who gives the increase.

With fewer hours than I planned, He can do more than I ever could with a "perfect" schedule.

Some days the best thing you can do is scrub a dishwasher with a toothbrush and trust Him with the rest.

This morning my toddler told me her belly hurt.

I explained that she had to wait to see if it was something she ate, or if it would go away naturally. 

"But I don't wanna wait."

So I told her the truth: "We don't control that. God does. We have to wait for Him to heal it or give us the next step. But what we can do is trust Him. We live in God's world."

Children expose the most obvious tension between man and God.

Our sinful nature wants to control everything because we want to be God.

But we live in God's world. So we can't control everything.

There's this constant tension between what I want and what's actually happening around me.

And that tension? It draws us closer to trusting God.

Job faced immense suffering and started asking "Why God? This doesn't make sense!"

As if he knew better.

God rebuked him. He asked Job questions about whether he was even qualified to speak on these matters.

Job's response?

Job 42:2–6

	“I know that you can do all things,
		and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted.
	"Who is this that hides counsel without knowledge?"
	Therefore I have uttered what I did not understand,
		things too wonderful for me, which I did not know.
	"Hear, and I will speak;
		I will question you, and you make it known to me."
	I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear,
		but now my eye sees you;
	therefore I despise myself,
		and repent in dust and ashes.”

My toddler reminded me of something I forget constantly:

I'm not God. And that's a good thing.

7 years ago I quit my job as a control systems engineer because I hated the 9-5.

Not because the company was bad.

I just didn't fit the mold.

I had a robotics engineering degree. Four years of school. A "good job."

And I was miserable.

So I started a business doing...LinkedIn automation?

Yeah. I wasn't even passionate about marketing. I just wanted control of my time.

Here's how OrganicOutreach.io evolved
2018-2019: Just me, booking meetings via LinkedIn (my wife was even helping reply to leads)

2019-2021: Took those learnings, built the Outbound Mastermind - a coaching program for startups who couldn't afford done-for-you services. Hired and trained 40 people. Fired almost all of them because I was a terrible leader. Business almost collapsed weeks before my first daughter was born. 

2022: Email deliverability died. Like, HARD. So we pivoted to deliverability setups - SPF, DKIM, DMARC, the whole technical mess no one wants to deal with. This was also our rebuilding from the ground up after the coaching / sales team crash. 

2023: Zoomed in fully on email deliverability for both startups and sales teams. Scalable. Profitable. But limited.
We were helping clients hit the inbox... but they still had to build lists, write copy, manage campaigns. And most of them sucked at it.

2024-2025: Full circle. Clay + AI tools changed everything. What used to take weeks now takes hours.
So we added strategy back. The thing I did when I first started. Messaging, list building, outbound offers...we could do all of this so efficiently, we didn't need to hire 3-5 people just for fulfillment. 

2026:
3 employees. Way too many AI credits. And clients who've collectively raised $200M in funding while working with us.

👑 Christ is King ✝️ Outbound Systems That Grow Pipeline Without Headcount

My wife looked at me stressed and said: "I don't know what we're going to do"

I woke up with a full plate. Zero momentum. Cold start.

My wife was at the breakfast table watching our two kids. She looked stuck.

"I don't know what we're going to do today."

It was freezing outside. 
Can't go to the park.
Most indoor activities? Paid memberships we're not budgeting for right now.

And we'd already been cooped up inside all last week. 
Same toys. 
Same routine. 
Same walls.

I felt the weight of it. For her. For the day ahead.

Then I remembered something.

Last Friday we turned our living room into a Snow White scene. We changed the setup for every part of the movie. My 4-year-old was Snow White all day. Music playing. Fort building. Scene reenactments.

It worked. All day. No meltdowns. No boredom.

So I said: "Why don't we do an Encanto Day?"

Cranked the soundtrack on Alexa. Started calling my daughter Mirabelle. Told her to make it a special day and tell "Abuela" about it.

She ran to her room. Put on her Encanto dress.

My wife (who is absurdly creative) turned our bedroom into the doors from the movie (see below), complete with the digital candles we bought for Halloween four months ago.

The day was saved.

Here's the lesson:

God doesn't ask us to control what we can't control.

-I can't change the temperature.
-I can't add hours to the day.
-I can't make my kids have fun on command.

But I CAN steward what's in front of me.

The toys we already have. The creativity we already possess. The time we're already given.

God doesn't tell you to wait until you're a millionaire to run your business well.

He doesn't tell you to wait until you have 10 kids to be a good dad.

And He doesn't tell you to wait until conditions are perfect to be faithful.

He tells you to work with what you have. Right now. Today.

“One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much."
