A few months ago, I worked with a company convinced they needed a signing bonus to close a critical hire.
“Everyone else is offering them,” they said.

Then the hiring manager exhaled and told me the truth:

🗣 3 Speeches - 🕎 1 Burning Question - And ❤️‍🩹 3 Random Friends


I've been missing for a week... there was nothing 'right' to say...

And then I had a very busy Shabbos:
📚 3 speeches 
🏘 at 3 different locations 
👨‍🎓 to 3 different audiences

and one burning question:
❓️ How much do I mention Bondi?
We're all hurting, it can't be ignored
But I want Shabbos to be uplifting & inspiring 


We need to understand our collective experience this past week in order to determine what words to offer when in a position of leadership i.e. when given the opportunity to address a crowd

I feel we are looking for two things:

1. Validation 
💖 We're all hurting and we need love, care & empathy 

2. Context
🧩 We'd love to find where this difficult piece of the puzzle goes - no - we will not ever undertand these tragic events but we need to find a way to contextualise them and then draw some meaning & encouragement to continue 


🙏 Thank G-d I was able to do so at two of the three speeches and the crowds really appreciated the thoughts shared


🫂 So... on Monday I'm back at work and I get stopped randomly on the street - 3 separate times! - by true blue fair dinkum Aussies

"We've got your back"
"Australia loves you, we're a welcoming society for everyone"
"We're hurting for your community..."


🕎 There are good people out there & and there'll be brighter days ahead!

Honestly: Do you really think you're good enough?

🌠 If you think that you can really reach for the sky - then set your sights there!

Do NOT nervously watch the crowd searching for validation...

Nor the 'likers' on social media...

💥 If you believe that you can make it - so do I!

But - as your coach - I will hold you accountable to think and behave that way too!


Set your sights on the stars and then describe that amazing reality to your audience!

🗣 Be that visionary and lead your audience to joining you in success!!


🏆 Don't look at where they sit right now, pick them up and change their lives!


In order to inspire your audience - you must first gain the clarity to inspire yourself!
