Amazon just made a small update that I think is actually very smart.

They added an “All Tools” tab inside Amazon Ads and it shows every available tool in one clean view.

At first glance, it looks minor.

It’s not.

• Everything is visible in one place
• No more digging through multiple menus
• Less friction in finding what you need
• Faster discovery of new features
• Higher adoption of underused tools

Before this, many features were “buried.”
If you didn’t already know they existed, you probably never used them.

Now?

You click one tab and instantly see:
Reporting, AMC, Brand Metrics, Data Manager, DSP reports, Attribution, Creative Studio… all of it.

This is smart product design.

This weekend I spent hours with Claude Cowork trying to answer a question that should be simple:

What’s really happening with my brand’s Subscribe & Save?

Not the surface-level:
“How many subscribers do I have?”

But the uncomfortable questions:

→ What’s my real churn rate after first order by promotion type?
→ Which deal combinations actually build lasting S&S subscribers?
→ What’s the lifetime value for each segment?
→ How does each Brand Tailored Promotion audience impact retention?

We run almost every promotion Amazon offers:

• Deals (Lightning, Best Deals)
• Price Discounts
• Brand Tailored Promotions
• Tiered Promotions
• Regular coupons
• S&S first-time coupons

And here’s what nobody talks about:

Amazon does NOT give you this data cleanly.

Order reports show promotion IDs… but not for everything.

Best Deals, Lightning Deals, and price discounts?
They don’t show up as promotions at all.  Amazon already bakes them into the item price.

So if you want to know which promotion actually acquired a subscriber…

You have to:
• Cross-reference multiple reports
• Manually map promotion IDs
• Reconstruct pricing history
• Tie it back to subscription behavior
• And then layer retention + LTV analysis on top

I even broke down Brand Tailored Promotions by audience type to see which segments actually create high-LTV subscribers and which ones just create short-term spikes.

It took an entire weekend of data wrangling just to get to the starting line.

But what I found on the other side?

It completely changed how I think about promotion strategy, deal stacking, and S&S growth.

If you’re running Subscribe & Save and only looking at subscriber count inside Seller Central…

You’re flying blind.
