My best prospecting month was in May. Generated 7 new meetings and about $500K in new pipeline.

All as a full-time AE running demos, pilots, and even dealing with 20 customers.

𝐀 𝐟𝐞𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐈 𝐝𝐢𝐝:

-Didn’t take a single day off. Built it into my daily habits.

-Prospected 3-5 accounts per day and about 3-4 people at each account.

-Never did an insane day of prospecting. Never broke a day of even 60+ activities. “Do a little every day, so you never have to do a lot.”

-Mixed up multi-channel. LI, video, calling, gifting, warm intros. Different prospects respond better to each. Try them all.

-Did unscalable prospecting methods. Sent custom gifts to people’s homes. Bought a prospect’s book they authored. Prospect how other sellers would never dare.

-Systematized everything. Used my sequences for 2 personas. High, medium, or low personalization. Used my OPPS email framework to kick off every 1st touch. Repurposed it over and over via multi-channel.


Comes back to my favorite motto for prospecting.

“Do a little every day, so you never have to do a lot.”

Revenue lags hard work, so keep at it to finish EOY.

Chez Nous in Charleston might be my new favorite restaurant.
They only put six things on the menu each day.
Two apps. Two entrees. Two desserts.

We ordered the entire thing.
Simple. Easy. Zero decision fatigue.
And honestly, it made the whole experience better.

Fast forward to this week.
A client asked me to send over a giant list of every Sage Intacct module so they could go through it one by one.

And all I could think was… this isn’t Publix.
I’m not handing you an aisle map.

My job is to listen to how your team actually works.
Figure out what gets in the way.
Then recommend the configuration that solves the real problems.
Not twenty choices. Not a buffet line.

Usually it comes down to one, maybe two clean paths.
Focused. Thoughtful. Easy to act on.

Two weeks ago Emily walked out of Sunday School holding this tiny cardboard box like it was the most important thing in the world. Inside was a note about tithing and serving others during the holidays. Nothing fancy. Just a reminder that we can all give a little to help a lot.

She went upstairs, pulled open her drawer, and came back down with every single dollar she owned. $20 or $30 bucks. Mostly ones. And she said she wanted to give it all away because she already had what she needed. Food. A warm home. People who love her.

She did keep the $10 dollar bill. Because, in her words, “this one looks cooler.”

We’re taking her box back to church on Sunday so they can put it toward Thanksgiving meals for families in our community. A few more turkeys. A few more side dishes. A few more people who get to sit at a table next week instead of worrying about where dinner will come from.

Some quick context that shows how big this need is:
-> The cost of a Thanksgiving meal is up almost 30% since 2019
-> Food banks across the US are serving 50% more families than before the pandemic
-> Every single dollar donated to a pantry can stretch into four or five meals
-> Even a $5 gift matters
-> A single turkey can feed a family
