The attached bio does not include everything, but gives you a good idea of my history, well mainly the successes, as there have been plenty of horrible speed bumps and traumatic experiences along the way, but each one made me stronger, smarter, and more prepared and equipped to handle what is now my daily responsibilities. Everything happens for a reason, even the bad things.

I am the CEO and Founder of UBsports.com, a B2B/B2C enterprise that's built to provide an end-to-end management operating system for all businesses and orgs of sports and wellness (The UBsports Pro OS), and that is about to relaunch a complete social network dedicated to athletes in all sports, with particular attention to the lower profile sports, and with extra care to provide equal access for rural, inner-city, underrepresented, disabled and other demographics that don't have the same access to sports and healthy options that the rest of us do.

Founded, developed all strategies and concepts, built Business Plan, funded, raised capital, built development team and partnerships.  Management team split segments of site, I kept the concept that became UBsports.

Built, funded and ran a blended bricks and mortar and online retail and institutional sporting goods sourcing and sales company.

Business executive and Wall Street veteran with broad expertise spanning economic, financial, management, sales, marketing and strategic planning.  I began professionally as a broker with PaineWebber, moved into management, and eventually ran my own investment management firm, Burton Asset Management.  Over the past years, I have been working on and developing a new company, UBsports, which is erasing the many inefficiencies in the athlete and sports communities (particularly the most widely played sports..not the sports you would think!) giving athletes and coaches their own sports-centric social network, and creating a new paradigm in Web video for sports.

Specialties: Business management, Business plan development and rollout, creative development of synergistic relationships and communities, Sales and contact development, strategic marketing and  relationship development.

 I'm the head of UBsports.com, a site that has the potential to put all the nation's 100 sports, and all 280 million participants (in the US alone!), into one athlete universe online.   We all need and deserve to have a central hub online where all our needs as athletes or coaches are satisfied: social connections, recruitment opportunities, to learn how to win at our current sports, or learn new sports, watch the best coaching, training and competition video, and get the best equipment available, all curated by a US Team or pro athlete in each sport, and connected real-time, throughout the year, online and on our devices. 

Imagine the power that will have when we all come together, from pro and US team athlete, down to the beginners with big aspirations, all in one place that's built to let us learn from each other and when at the top, to give back to the communities that made us who we are...
