As AVP I led the Advancement partnership with all U of T Principals & Deans, faculty advancement leaders and their respective teams across the institution, including responsibility for leading the largest Major Gifts pipeline in Canada. 

While holding senior leadership roles, I was one of the top major gifts fundraisers university-wide over the $2.6B Boundless Campaign. I was also a lead architect of the $4B Defy Gravity Campaign now successfully underway. 

With 400+ advancement staff campus-wide, this role was responsible for improving and supporting exceptional talent pipelines and individual team-members' performance at 27 academic units. 

The AVP role included overseeing a team of 28 staff in the central Division of University Advancement (DUA) office, as well as each faculty advancement leader reporting to this role (as VP's designate) and to their academic lead. 

Portfolios included leading Divisional Relations, Major Gifts and Prospect Management.

Working with firm leaders in Toronto, Montreal and New York, I  successfully established and evolved a professional development program that fostered excellence in the above practice skills, as well as institutional consistency in key areas such as client service and lawyers’ business development acumen. I conceptualized and led the development and execution of the thought leadership client programs, “The Davies Academy,” that serve as an asset in the firm's business development and client service strategy.
