My story:
A few years ago, I asked myself: What do I actually want?
I realized I wanted authenticity, growth, and meaningful impact. So I stopped waiting for permission and reinvented myself.
Now I help mission-driven companies build thought leadership engines and content systems that drive demand. I coach mid-career professionals through their own reinventions. And I help leaders navigate the AI era without burning out.

For 20+ years, I've specialized in making complex ideas accessible and systematic — from building education programs for 12,000+ employees across 126 countries to growing social channels to 100k+ followers.

A freelance virtual, hybrid and live event specialist, I facilitated online events by managing front-end platforms and back-end content distribution systems for all levels of virtual conferences, alongside my role as a producer, working with the client and technical teams to deliver events large and small, physical and virtual. 

I started as an audio-visual technician and technical manager and progressed to a live event technical production manager for a wide variety of end clients across the automotive, pharmaceutical, high-street retail and public sectors, mainly working on client internal communications and experiential events. 

This gives me an understanding of the whole event, and an awareness of the possibilities and the restrictions of using particular systems or platforms.

I worked mostly in the digital realm with my extensive experience of technical and scenic production alongside years of successful client account management providing me with the ability to take a brief for, design, manage and deliver physical and virtual events end-to-end.

I’m an excellent all-rounder, with knowledge and experience of video, networking, systems integration, audio and lighting, along with a very high level of client management, team management and supplier coordination skills.

I also have a background in presentation design, coupled with a strong grasp of copywriting.

Live and Digital Event Production (freelance)

Working within the DP World pavilion at EXPO2020 as the technical production manager with responsibility for delivery of events in the main atrium alongside liaison with the main technical supplier and the show producer team.

Optimum

Alongside my work as Director of Production, I also took on additional duties as Director of Operations at Optimum, dealing with day-to-day operation of the business.

I had responsibility for technical and production direction of all Optimum projects, in particular for our large-scale international experiential projects, along with budget oversight and pre-event and on-site team management.

I also implemented a company-wide IT system change at the beginning of 2018 to encourage and support seamless remote working in order to support on-site workers but also to ease the process of home working for those employees that require it. This included a change to the platform the whole company was using, as well as the design and implementation of an MDM solution to support remote devices.

Following 12 years of working closely with the directors of Optimum as a freelance production manager, working mostly on experiential events, I joined the business as co-owner and executive director of production, with responsibility for delivering all of Optimum's large-scale projects, nationally and internationally.
