What is tactical content?
- Frameworks that benefit your audience today
- Even if they never hire you
- Bonus if it’s laid out in beautiful visuals

What is the purpose?

What is success?
↳ People click save to refer back to it later

How do you come up with it? Ask yourself:
- What frameworks do I use for myself?
- What frameworks do I use with clients?
- What comes easily to me, but is hard for others?

2️⃣ Point-of-View Content

What is POV content?
- Your unique perspective on your industry

What is the purpose?
↳ Attract the right people & repel the wrong ones

How do you come up with it? Ask yourself:
- What bugs me about my industry?
- What advice is outdated or incomplete?
- Where have I changed my mind over time?

3️⃣ Build-in-Public Content

What is build-in-public content?
- Behind-the-scenes of your process & struggles

What is the purpose?
↳ Build trust, connection, and relatability

What is success?
↳ Replies, DMs, and “this hit” messages

How do you come up with it? Ask yourself:
- What’s frustrating or stressful right now?
- What decision am I wrestling with?
- What feels messy, unfinished, or uncertain?

4️⃣ Sales Content

What is sales content?
↳ Clear offers paired with next steps

What is the purpose?
↳ Turn attention into revenue

What is success?
- Inbound DMs
- Paid invoices
- People saying “How do I sign up?”

How do you come up with it? Ask yourself:
- What are my strongest results or case studies?
- What numbers or outcomes can I show?
- What problem does my offer solve right now?

That’s it. Four ingredients.

This is the most common kind of viral.

Why this doesn’t help your business much
✖️ The virality has nothing to do with your offer
✖️ High engagement fast, then the post dies
✖️ Zero compounding value

This is why people say,
“It's not worth trying to go viral!”

When it comes to this kind of virality, 100% agree.
For business purposes, it’s basically useless.

2️⃣ Debate Virality

This is the loudest kind of viral.

What is debate virality?
→ Strong POVs
→ Hot takes
→ Black-and-white framing
→ Content people argue about

How can you tell you hit debate virality?
↳ Likes: ~2–3% of impressions
↳ Comments: 0.6–1.5%
↳ Saves: 0.3–0.8%

These posts grow as long as debate continues.

This can be good or bad for your business
→ Massive visibility
→ Strong POV positioning

But it can polarize…and it doesn’t always convert.

It's only worth it if your post is closely related to your actual service.

3️⃣ Resource Virality

This is the most overlooked kind of viral…

…and the MOST profitable.

What is resource virality?
→ Tactical frameworks
→ Repeatable systems
→ Checklists people reuse

Content people actually save.

How can you tell you hit resource virality?
↳ Saves: 2–4%+ of impressions
↳ Likes: 1.2–3%
↳ Comments: 0.2–0.6%

These posts start slower, but compound over time.

Why resource virality is AMAZING for your business.
✓ Builds trust automatically
✓ Compounds over weeks
✓ Establishes you as THE resource in your space

The 3 keys to create "Resource Virality" posts

1) Density
→ One post answers many questions
→ Enough scannability to get it at a glance
→ But tons of depth so people want to refer back

2) Clarity
→ Simple structure beats clever writing

3) Save-worthiness

Average content often goes viral.
Here’s why & how to nail virality.

Quality doesn’t guarantee reach.

But reach ALSO doesn’t depend on:

- How broad or niche the audience was
- How big the account was that posted it
- How the algorithm stars aligned that day

The main factor in post virality is this:

—— Is it painful to scroll past it? ——

Meaning, the immediate grab matters first...
...before the value CAN even matter.

There are many ways people aim for painful-to-skip posts:

- The perfect selfie
- The perfect text hook
- The perfect video clip

Those things work sometimes.
Other times, they don’t.

They’re fundamentally hit or miss.

But…

There is one unusually reliable strategy for viral content:

Few can create a viral brand.
Here's how to do the latter.

Yes, there IS a real benefit to a single viral post.

You’ll be remembered for longer than you’d think.
(Especially on LI where the saturation is still very low).

But one viral post is not the goal.
The goal is that your whole presence feels viral.

People don’t just talk about your post.
People talk about you as a person.

→ What you’re doing
→ What you’re thinking
→ What you’re offering

Here’s how to create a viral brand in 4 steps.

Most nail the first 3…
…but  miss the 4th.

1️⃣ Choose one skill to focus on

You’re great at a lot of things.
Your business is great at a lot of things.

Just pick one.

Spend 90% of your content on that topic/skillset.

Most nail step 1.

2️⃣ Talk to one customer

Niching down isn’t enough on its own.
But you still have to do it.

Focus on...

→ One customer
→ One industry
→ One problem
→ One outcome

Most nail step 2.

3️⃣ Develop a strong POV

→ You need to be at least somewhat controversial.
→ Go after the blindspots and failures of your industry.
→ Offer a new and unique approach & solution.

Most nail step 3.

And then...

Most people stop right here.

Or they keep tweaking steps 1-3.

And wonder why it’s not working.

But viral personal brands go one more step.

4️⃣ Create standout content

Everyone knows your content must be valuable.
"Give away all your best ideas for free."

But!!!

You must deliver value in an incredibly enjoyable way.

→ Beautiful visuals
→ Strong aesthetic
→ Clever animations
→ Interesting graphics

(Think Anthony, Josh, Nick, Charlie, Magali.)

They went from viral posts to viral brands.

Your content doesn’t need to be as wild as this graphic.
But it needs to have a wow-factor.

— And high quality content was secondary.
— "Just post consistently and you'll win!"

— The value, quality and aesthetic matters just as much. 
— (If not more.)

That was my story.

Tools to use to find your palette.

→ Lighter palettes = easier to read
→ Softer colors play best with text

2️⃣ Pick your background (canvas)

White background:
→ Playful
→ Friendly
→ High clarity

Black background:
→ Serious
→ Clean
→ “Premium” feel

Colored background (one from your palette):
→ Artsy
→ Vibey
→ Strong personality

3️⃣ Choose your foreground color strategy

Single foreground color (one from your palette)
→ Clean
→ Simple
→ Easier to stay consistent

Multiple foreground colors (a few from your palette)
→ Better color-coding
→ More density
→ Easy to scan (because color-coding)

Pro tip:
→ Shade by layering white or black at lower opacity

4️⃣ Experiment with background & foreground combos

Stick to the one palette, but try all combos:
→ White / black / colored canvas
→ Single-color or multi-color foreground

5️⃣ Lock in with one look

You can create 6–7 distinct looks from one palette.
Explore all of them, but eventually commit to one.

Once you…
→ Pick fonts
→ Pick one main look
→ Stick to it

…this is what produces a recognizable visual brand.
Then people start knowing it’s you before reading!

How to use it in 3 steps.

I use the same hook framework on half my posts.

No one has ever noticed.

You can use it too. 
Save this for later.
Here’s the breakdown of how to create it.

Step 1) Define the core ideas

Explanation:
Write down three things in order:
→ Your POV
→ The outcome it creates
→ The blind spot, misconception or bad idea people have about how to achieve that outcome

Example:
→ POV: Speakers should focus on writing better talks
→ Outcome: Better talks = great communication
→ Blind spot: People wrongly assume personal charisma = great communication

Step 2) Create an ugly first draft
(see visual for fill-in-the-blanks).

How?
Turn the blind spot into two lines. 
Tie both to the outcome like this:

→ What you believe will not get you to the outcome
→ The opposite of what you believe may 

(See infographic below for detail.)

It will sound silly at first.
Just let it.
Mad Libs style.

Example:

LINE 1
Personal charisma does not equal great communication.
LINE 2
The opposite of charisma may equal great communication.

Step 3) Wordsmith until it sounds good.

Explanation:
Rewrite Step 2 in concrete, human language.

Example:
Charismatic people are often boring speakers.
Shy people are often incredible communicators. Why?

(BTW, this exact hook got 1m impressions on its own.)

3️⃣ Proof + sales

Have you shared measurable client wins recently?

Best practices:
↳ Ask your 3 favorite clients for their biggest results
↳ Refresh your testimonial section
↳ Aim for one sales post per week

Some with 40k followers get 40 likes per post.
Some with 40k followers get 400. Why?

This is something we’re all noticing more and more.

Two creators with the same follower count:

→ Both have valuable expertise
→ Both have a niche audience
→ Both have a solid business
→ Both have a strong POV

But one has content that is crushing.
And the other does not.

Here's my take.

It usually comes down to one thing:

→→→ The ability to create viral visuals. ←←←

Imagine you and I were starting a restaurant.
We've got a great hookup on high-quality steak.

...If we chose to serve the steak raw on paper plates...
...the restaurant would not survive.

That's what the 10-like creator is doing.

→ Their insights and ideas are the steak.
→ But the steak is served in a text post with a selfie.

That's a great insight...on a paper plate.

Nobody likes it.

But!

If you take the exact same framework and turn it into a beautiful infographic with...

→ A clever layout
→ A strong visual vibe
→ A clear title at the top
→ A surprising animation

Now you're serving it up just right.

That's what 400-like creators are doing.

The "steak" isn't any better.
The "cooking" is just better (so to speak).

If you want to get your engagement up, here's my best advice:

Learn to create viral, animated infographics.

Yes, it takes some work.
But the work is actually pretty fun.

7 steps to create a viral infographic: 👇🏻

1️⃣ Aim at the right target

The target for a viral infographic is this:

→ Substance: A highly savable, valuable framework
→ Structure: Display information in a clever way
→ Style: It should look very cool by the end :)

You MUST have all three.

2️⃣ Create a “Mind Map” of all your frameworks

This is how to find your most substantive ideas.

→ Write down step-by-step how you serve clients
→ Divide each step into sub-frameworks
→ Divide sub-steps into micro-frameworks

Now scan the map.

Look for a framework that’s:

→ Genuinely valuable
→ Less frequently talked about

That's the guts of your graphic.

3️⃣ Map to a shape-based layout

→ Find a set of shapes your framework can map to
→ 2×2 matrix, Venn diagram, funnel, ladder, etc.
→ This will take some trial and error

At this point you have a basic layout.

But if you stop here…

…it’ll be too boring.

Go to step 4.

4️⃣ Spice up the structure

Here are some spice options. 👇🏻

→ Add detail with pills, arrows & notes
→ Repeat framework 5–6 times & show examples
→ Slice the shape to show good vs. bad

It doesn't need to look pretty... yet.

5️⃣ Title it

This is the most important part for virality.

The title must tie directly to an audience pain point: 

GOOD:

→ How to ___
→ 3 Layers of ___
→ 5 Rules for ___

BAD:

→ Abbreviations
→ Inside jokes
→ Titles that assume people know your field

6️⃣ Make it look pretty

→ You don't need to be a professional designer
→ Think of yourself as a professional formatter

Zoom in on the graphic below for 16 rules.

If you follow those to a T,
your infographic will look great.

7️⃣ Animate it

Everyone thinks this is the hard part.
But it often takes 5-10 minutes!!

Use the Jitter plug-in to add some basic movement.

You'll get MANY more eyeballs with a little animation.

There you have it:

1️⃣ Aim at the right target
2️⃣ Create a “Mind Map”
3️⃣ Map to a shape-based layout
4️⃣ Spice up the structure 
5️⃣ Give it a clear title
6️⃣ Make it look pretty
7️⃣ Animate it
