As a CEO, CRO, COO and CFO, and multi-time founder, I have successfully led early-stage, high-growth Web and tech firms consistently delivering hyper-growth profitable revenue. As a founder/CXO, my banking and finance background served as the foundation to all my work.

@25, as Sr. Credit Policy Officer/VP at JPMorgan Chase, I designed, wrote and implemented numerous credit products for the Bank, ultimately bearing the credit risk for and overseeing a $50B+ loan portfolio. 

Over my career, I have led the growth of seven companies, including four self-funded start-ups and one venture-backed firm. Notably, two of these companies exceeded $140 million in annual revenue. My individual efforts have delivered over $2 billion in uninterrupted, profitable revenue to these ventures and two exits.

My comfort zone is complex problems, dynamic changes and continuous improvement in an organization. I am energized by competition and the need for continuous cost reduction and performance efficiency. 

My first full startup was a first-mover pioneer in the digital advertising sector, founding and building a digital advertising agency that created many of the methods and practices now broadly employed in digital marketing (SEO, SEM, etc.), targeted media planning and buying, programmatic advertising, data, tracking and reporting. We reached nearly $150M within 3 years; highly profitable, no investors or debt; started the company with $100.

I launched my career in corporate and investment banking, reaching VP at JPMorgan Chase @25. And, to kick off my startup career, I was on the founding team of two intrapreneurial startups in US and international telecommunications where I was the sole IC to a $50M run rate in year one.

In 2022, 13 students embarked on a journey in the Spring to explore the following challenge: 
*How might we redesign financial relationships to dignify historically underrepresented entrepreneurs?* 

45 individuals collaborated regularly with our Redesigning Finance students to focus on real-world systemic issues or improving the contributions that historically underrepresented entrepreneurs can make as the innovation assets and creative people they and their firms represent. The class brought in Lines of Business leaders from Apple, bankers from Silicon Valley bank, and community leaders through Community College.

- Identified key technical pain points of the existing design-engineer-finance-construct project path through internal stakeholder interviews; recommendations were adopted to improve the internal review process after third-party construction bids are received

- Researched and developed marketing requirement documents (MRD) that addressed major potential users of Sunverge’s full line of energy software and hardware products; applied MRDs in marketing and product department discussions to align external messaging with internal product roadmap 
- Expanded user and buyer personas for all products by 300%; identified both consumer and business pain points through usability tests, industry expert interviews, and market research 
- Launched a cloud-based assets library to standardize sales materials across 2 continents; designed and published over 100 sales collateral pieces, including the primary sales decks used during all stages of customer acquisition; improved sales efficiency by reducing engagement-to-close timeframe by 75%

I'm a systems designer with a diverse background spanning healthcare, finance, construction, architecture, and food service. Throughout my career, I’ve worn many hats: technical environmental designer of net zero energy buildings, project engineer, finance associate at an Australian infrastructure investment fund, and senior UX designer for debt products at a major financial institution.

My Tenet #1: Interconnectedness
In any organization, no element operates independently. Every part of a team contributes to the whole, ensuring its vitality.

My Tenet #2: Atomic Focus
The most sustainable way to fix a broken system is by addressing its most atomic parts. In UX design, this means focusing on the smallest actionable elements. In organizations, it means understanding and aligning with the motivations of the people doing the work. By leveraging insights from user and product research, I aim to increase efficiency and align organizational goals with individual motivations.

My Tenet #3: Intentionally Building Trust 
We need to intentionally build organizations to rebuild trust in our larger systems—health, government, and finance. By understanding our collective wants and needs, we can design systems in which we can live, trust, and thrive.
