From 2018 - 2022, I closed over $50M in tech sales by winning AI-enabled transformation deals with the world’s largest brands like Delta, Chipotle, and UnitedHealthcare.

In 2019, I entered the coveted 7-figure annual earners club for the first time. I averaged $1M+ 3 years in a row before retiring from the corporate world at age 42 in 2022.

These results came about, not so much by focusing on specific sales techniques and tactics, but more through designing and developing a unique way to operate consistently at an elite level.

This wasn’t always the case.

Like so many in tech sales, I fell into the trap of needing to hustle and grind to get to the top. 

And then once I got to the top, I had to do it all over again, month after month, quarter after quarter, and year after year.

That led to a vicious cycle of frustration and burnout. It got so bad that I landed in the hospital in my early 30s due to a mini-stroke from overworking. Plus, I was stalling my earnings at $200K per year.

It wasn’t until I completely redesigned my work and life with more purposeful integration that I found sustainable results and satisfaction.

The catalyst to changing the way I operated was adopting a "Human First, Seller Second" approach using design thinking and systems thinking. 

Today, I use my role as The Purposeful Performer to deliver content, community, and coaching that help strategic revenue generators turn their tech sales career into a noble craft and funding vehicle for their long-term passion projects.

All of this is driven by a customizable personal operating system that I write about. 

The results?

Given my Systems Management Expertise, I got a role working for Oracle as an Oracle Management Cloud Specialist. 

Oracle Management Cloud is a suite of management services that eliminate the human effort associated with traditional solutions for monitoring, managing and securing applications and infrastructure. Oracle Management Cloud leverages machine learning and big data techniques against the full breadth of the operational data set to help customers drive innovation while removing cost and risk from operational processes.

Lead and manage all Oracle Management Cloud Activities sales activities and go-to-market strategies for ANZ
Track all opportunities, pipeline and bookings and provide forecasts and funnel management reports
Lead and run all aspects of the organization in a  model consisting of  Cloud Engagement Managers and Channel Managers
Ensure strong activity in sales opportunities, account mapping and other sales engagements between field sales and the organization

Working for an upstart or start up in the region can give the learning which you can use in anywhere in the world.  Hired as one of the 2 reps for the region I delivered 116% for the year 2016 with the acquisition of logos. I worked closely with the Senior Management reporting locally and international to deliver the corporate goals.
