Director of Business Development

-Utilize independent judgment and discretion and network balance capacity tools to determine the location of trucks and available customer loads; to tailor planning to meet area needs, including loads taken, routes utilized and possible changes or cancellation of load assignments; to understand daily capacity needs/opportunities and proactively communicate to appropriate leadership to maximize efficiency.
-Know and understand the intricacies of the operational market assigned; plan for acceptance of loads. Utilize independent judgment and network decision support tools to plan for acceptance of loads; to assign loads to trucks; to ensure customers' service requirements are met.
-Responsible for the successful dispatch of planned loads and subsequent ownership of loads for assigned area.
-Use independent judgment and discretion to comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) Regulations & Safety Compliance guidelines; to validate driver hours of service to safely and legally facilitate the planning of loads; to honor specific driver/company requests related to operations/safety. training; to research driver issues regarding non-compliance items (overweight loads, load routing, hours of operation, equipment type, etc.); and to provide resolution accordingly to meet legal requirements. 
-Analyze and forward unresolved issues to appropriate internal departments for resolution as needed.
-Communicate professionally, effectively, and timely with both internal and external customers/contacts.
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that facilitates the overall efficiency and success of business operations in order to meet company demands and expectations.

Load Planner ( Dry Van Division )

-Schedule drivers on various routes.
-Develop a strategy for decreasing vehicle costs.
-Encourage drivers to create the most efficient routes.
-Create reports of driver's effectiveness.
-Follow all vehicle regulations and laws.

Fleet Manager

-Keep records, monitoring drivers' daily logs for errors or violations, and monitoring their working hours and equipment availability.
-Keep tabs on the weather at all drivers' locations to be able to flag potential issues, typically with the aid of numerous computer programs.
-Serve as a reliable point of contact to balance drivers' health and safety with customer requirements.
Coordinate and manage the most efficient loads to remain cost-effective as a company, combining shipments based on their routes and timeline to minimize how many trucks and drivers are out.
-Determine the best delivery methods and negotiate rates directly with vendors and customers, and get the necessary documents and permits that drivers will need when shipping chemicals or livestock.

I have been working  more than thirteen years as a logistics officer, during my tenure ,i have hold vital role such as Procurement officer, A/Area Stores Officer, Logistics officer to a few establishment and ships. 
Moreover I have performed duties as secretary to Director General Administration and secretary to Director General Administration.
Being a logistics officer dealt with internal external stake holders in arranging goods and services , demand forecasting, inventory controlling and stores management.
