If Sales hates your ABM program, don’t argue with them.
That’s usually a signal. 
Not a complaint.

Most teams respond to sales pushback by:
🔸Explaining the strategy again
🔸Sharing more dashboards
🔸Walking through engagement metrics

None of that helps.

Because sales isn’t asking “Is ABM working in theory?”

They’re asking, “What changed for me this week?”

If ABM doesn’t:
🔸change who they prioritize
🔸change how they sequence
🔸change when they reach out
🔸change which accounts feel urgent

Then from Sales’ perspective… nothing happened.

That’s not Sales being difficult.

The fix isn’t to convince sales to “trust marketing.”

It’s to design ABM so Sales can feel it.

That means:

🔸explicit “why now” context
🔸a recommended next action

When ABM is done right, Sales doesn’t need a presentation.

They just say “Oh… this makes sense.”

If your ABM program keeps getting side-eyed by sales, stop defending it.

Ask “What would make this genuinely useful to them this week?”

Then build that.
