2005: The year I hit rock bottom.

It’s strange how life can fall apart all at once.

One day, I was holding it together. The next, I was standing on the scale, staring at a number I didn’t recognize — 260 pounds.

I should’ve seen it coming. Years of stress-eating, skipped workouts, and pretending I’d figure it out tomorrow had finally caught up with me.

My body was failing me. My confidence was shot. My energy was gone.

I was 60 pounds overweight and completely lost. If I didn’t figure things out now, I might never come back.

2006: The turning point.
