I didn’t take the traditional route into the car business. Hell, most people don’t. I dropped out of university to sell cars—not because it was my dream, but because I needed to survive. 

Along the way, I figured out something that changed everything:

The only thing that ever changes is the size of the deal.

Whether I was selling Jeeps on the lot, closing the first-ever Enterprise Canada fleet deal, or building a business that helped hundreds of dealers move cars across borders, the fundamentals stayed the same.

You learn how to read people, how to solve problems, how to create opportunity.

I built my career on finding the angles others miss. I found ways to make markets where others saw none. I learned that the best deals don’t happen in auction lanes—they happen in conversations.

I like hard problems in the real world.

In 2018 I set out to prove that a phone could power vehicle inspections at fleet scale. That became PAVE.ai. It now runs more than 1.5 million inspections per year across North America and Europe and was recognized in Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 in 2025. The key lesson was simple: models are only as good as the images we feed them.

Today I am building Halo. Start anywhere, capture once, get consistent fixed field-of-view images for every workflow. We reconstruct a 3D twin from close range photos and render precise 2D views to spec. No guessing. No retakes.

Inside Zero to Sixty Lab I am also incubating Fendr. It learns from live invoice streams to benchmark repair costs and surface outliers.
