One scary Q4 bet just gave our B2B business its best numbers ever. 👀

In Q4 2025, elefante RevOps 🐘 made a calculated bet and the momentum has been wild:

- Highest ARR ever
- Highest lead volume ever
- Lowest churn ever
- Clearest path to MORE growth ever

So… what was the bet?

First, some context.

I’m obsessed with frameworks because they create clarity. The one in this post is the Bow Tie Data Model from Winning by Design. We use it to design our GTM motions, but I use it for something else too.

I see a fulcrum sitting at “Mutual Commit” (where a customer buys).

Think balance board or rocker board.

- Left side = Acquisition → our “Sales” team
- Right side = Retention & Expansion → our “Delivery” team

In our world, that bow tie is never perfectly balanced.

- When leads/opps/customers are down on the left, the right side gets heavy ➡️  over-resourced delivery.
- When leads/opps/customers are up on the left, the right side gets light ➡️  delivery at (or over) capacity.

I share this visual with the team so everyone understands what phase we’re in and what needs to happen now for us to win together in the next 90 days. 

👉 Rewind to end of Q3 2025:
We had a growth problem.
Not enough leads, not enough opps, not enough customers.
Both founders were the only sellers.
The bow tie was tilted to the right.

So we made our bet.

In Q4 2025 we:
- Hired two amazing sales pros
- Turned up the volume on both inbound + outbound

And it worked.

It worked because the entire elefante RevOps 🐘 team:
1. Identified the real issue
2. Built a plan
3. Committed as a team
4. Executed with conviction like there was no tomorrow

Growth doesn’t happen when you’re stuck in panic mode.

Growth happens when you:
- Step back from the chaos
- Get brutally honest about the growth phase you’re in
- Focus on the one biggest constraint in the business
