Today is a big moment for Digioh’s go-to-market engine 🎉

We’re welcoming Josh McCallum and Jordan (Peek) Wolfe to the team. Both hires represent where we’re heading in 2026, and I couldn’t be more excited.

Over the last two years, marketing-led growth at Digioh has exploded.

Our pipeline is up 135%, 2025 outperformed 2024, and we’re seeing more interest from DTC brands than ever before. 

Between content, events, partner marketing, playbooks, webinars, and newsletters, our top of funnel is becoming increasingly diverse and multi-touch.

What matters now is activating more of that demand in the right way.

Traditional outbound is breaking under the weight of automation and AI-driven noise to a point where inboxes feel worse than the days when everyone was gifting AirPods for a demo.

What does work is nearbound: using real intent signals, context, and thoughtful 1:1 (human) outreach to close the loop between marketing and sales.

We’ve spent the last year rebuilding our funnel to support this — from lead quality to scoring to activity monitoring. Bringing Josh in is the next step in turning that system into a new growth lever. 

I built the MVP for this role myself, and the moment I met Josh, I knew he was the one to take it further.

At the same time, continued pipeline growth means continued investment in sales.

Jordan already understands Digioh from her time at Iterable and delivered one of the strongest mock pitches I’ve seen with minimal prep.

As Digioh moves further upmarket and into more enterprise-level conversations, having a seller who speaks both the customer’s language and Digioh’s is everything. 

She complements Geoff perfectly and strengthens an already aligned sales and marketing motion.

Honored to contribute to Klaviyo’s 2026 Marketing Automation Trends report.

2026 is the year of identity-first personalization.

A lot of the report reinforces what many of us are already seeing. 

Third-party signals continue to erode. Automation is everywhere. AI is quickly becoming table stakes. 

In that environment, simply identifying a visitor is no longer the advantage that it was in 2023 or 2024.

What matters in 2026 is what happens next.

Most platforms stop at identity. 

They help you recognize someone, enrich a profile, and pass that data downstream. 

But the onsite experience stays the same. 

Same pop-ups. Same journeys. Same timing.

That gap is where brands lose momentum.

In 2026, my big belief is that winning teams will move from identity to turning identity into action in real time.

Identifying intent onsite, then immediately shaping the experience, the message, and the next step across the funnel.

This is where identity-first personalization comes to life.

Platforms like Klaviyo give brands the foundation for owning and activating their customer data across email and SMS. 

Digioh works alongside that by taking those same signals and using them earlier in the journey, onsite, to guide shoppers in the moments that actually influence conversion.

So I'm speaking at a the agency summit and I'm heavily past the DEADLINE with my presentation 🤬! I was supposed to send it LAST week... plus I've already spent 8+ hours working on it!!

I feel like very time I tasked myself with a workshop or a presentation I start questioning everything. Specifically how we think about helping founders solve their scaling and operational challenges. 

So I thought about what KEEPS tripping me up...

Typical presentations are designed to showcase expertise. Slide after slide of frameworks, methodologies and theoretical models that look impressive but leave people thinking "okay... so what do I actually DO on Monday?"

I personally can't stand that disconnect.

For me, teaching is rooted in understanding. Since I was a kid, I couldn't stand complexity and theoretical knowledge that exists in a vacuum. Dyslexia doesn't help either.

Learning should be practical, applicable and fun. That’s why I’m ALSO a huge fan of micro-learning. Small, clear concepts. Immediately useful. Easy to remember. Easy to apply the next day at work.

Anyway.. all of that pushes me to simplify stuff. And to simplify is hard (simple requires you to actually understand the problem at its core which takes gobs of time).

Alright… end of the rant. I probably should’ve put this energy into the presentation instead 😅.

You built a $500k-$5M/y agency business. We make it run without you.

Over the past 1.5 years we've built an agency client portfolio north of $50M. Here are 3 things we did to drive our fast growth and pipeline.

1. Product > service

We stopped selling a "service" and started building a product.

The first and most important shift we made was how we think about the consulting model. My intention has never been to build a traditional "service-based" company. I have no interest in selling time only long-term. But our goal is to build the best possible product on the market.

So instead of custom proposals for every client (like we did in the very beginning), we turned our offer into a clear, solution-driven product.

(Important to note: we didn't "templatise" what we do into a repeatable program like most info-products. We're far from it. I'll leave that for another post.)

This did two things:

1/ it made us easier to buy from, and it forced us to get exceptionally good at a narrow set of solutions which led to the second point

2/ clients aren't hiring us to "figure it out", they're buying a proven system with a clear understanding of what results to expect


2. Real, authentic content.

No growth hacks. NO embarrassing comment pods. No low-status "comment xyz if you agree" posts.

We've been optimising for trust and long-term brand leverage.

Authentic content builds trust before the first conversation even happens. 50% of prospects who reached out already knew our philosophy and believed in our approach before we ever spoke.

What helped with my content:

- Doug Lawson and 🧲 Adam Kitchen for pushing my thinking

- Writing every day with the intention of continuing to master this skill

- Reading fiction books (seriously, it's changed how I write)


3. Private in-person events

We hosted small, invite-only dinners and workshops in major cities around the globe. Usually 10-15 people max. No sales pitches (of course). The goal is to facilitate valuable conversations between founders and executives we wanted to build relationships with.

Someone called it our "bottom of funnel," but I don't like thinking of it that way. I personally don't want to feel like I'm part of someone else's funnel when I attend an event, so even though the goal is to generate business, it's not that scripted, if you know what I mean.

But yeah, the ROI is solid.


In 2026 we're going to invest more of our energy and money into 3 things:

Product
Content
Distribution

Lastly,

if you're building a service-based business like an agency or consultancy I highly, highly recommend paying attention to the changes in in how buyers evaluate and choose partners.

The market is saturated with sh** options and most agencies and coaches and consultants look identical from the outside.

My winning stack looks like this at the moment:

1/ Better products (with clear offers)
2/ Distinct points of view
3/ And trust built before the sales call ever happens
