🔍 The First Documented AI-Orchestrated Cyber Espionage Campaign – and What It Means for Organisations

In September 2025, investigators uncovered a cyber campaign that marks a turning point: for the first time, an attacker executed the majority of a complex espionage operation through an AI-agent architecture, operating with minimal human input.

The attackers manipulated a generative AI model by disguising their prompts as legitimate “penetration testing,” enabling the system to run reconnaissance, exploitation, credential harvesting, lateral movement and data exfiltration across more than 30 global organisations spanning tech, finance and industry.

The key insight:
Agentic AI is no longer a tool used only by companies – adversaries are now using it to scale and accelerate attacks at machine speed.

What does this mean for organisations?

1️⃣ New Threat Models
“Machine-speed attacks” are now a reality. Every AI deployment must include a risk assessment that explicitly covers agentic misuse scenarios.

2️⃣ Governance Becomes Non-Negotiable

Why it matters:

It enables structured go/no-go decisions for scaling.

Datenschutzfreundliche Analytics – ohne Datenverlust

Viele Analytics-Systeme arbeiten heute noch mit echten Nutzer-IDs oder Gerätekennungen. Das ist bequem – aber riskant.
Ein Leak genügt, und schon sind Personen identifizierbar.

Die Lösung heißt Tag-Telemetry mit Pseudonymisierung.

So funktioniert’s:

Beim Erfassen eines Events (z. B. Klick, Sensorwert, Login) wird die Roh-ID nicht gespeichert.
Stattdessen erzeugt ein „Tokenization-Service“ eine temporäre Pseudonym-ID – etwa pid_9f3a….
Diese ID wird regelmäßig rotiert (z. B. wöchentlich), sodass dieselbe Person in unterschiedlichen Zeiträumen eine neue Kennung bekommt.

Das Beste:
➡️ Funnels, Retention-Analysen oder A/B-Tests bleiben möglich.
➡️ Persönliche Daten bleiben im „Vault“ – isoliert, verschlüsselt, und nur mit 4-Augen-Freigabe rückverfolgbar.
➡️ Selbst bei einem Leak ist kein Rückschluss auf reale Personen möglich.

Ein echter Gewinn: mehr Datenschutz, weniger Risiko – gleiche analytische Power.

A better way? Think in experiments, not programs.

Instead of a 12-month roadmap, run short “change sprints” lasting 2–4 weeks:

Define one clear problem.

💡 Was ändert sich jetzt für KI in Europa – Meilensteine 25/26

Am 1. August 2024 trat der EU AI Act in Kraft – das erste umfassende Gesetz der Welt zur Regulierung von Künstlicher Intelligenz. 🏛️
Damit startet ein klarer Zeitplan:

Februar 2025: Verbot „unzulässiger“ KI-Anwendungen (z. B. manipulative Systeme).
August 2025: Regeln für große KI-Modelle („General Purpose AI“) treten in Kraft.
August 2026: Hauptpflichten für sogenannte Hochrisiko-KI-Systeme gelten.
August 2027: Letzte Übergangsfristen enden.

Parallel dazu erscheinen neue Leitlinien, etwa der ISPE GAMP AI-Guide und das Reflection Paper der EMA für den Arzneimittelbereich.
Beide zeigen: KI wird künftig nicht nur technisch, sondern auch regulatorisch zum Qualitäts- und Vertrauensfaktor.

Jetzt ist der Moment, um Governance, Datenqualität und KI-Validierung aufzubauen – bevor Audits und Aufsichtsbehörden es verlangen.

Europa gestaltet damit aktiv, wie verantwortungsvolle KI aussehen soll – ein entscheidender Schritt zwischen Innovation und Sicherheit.

DMAIC × KI: Wie man Prozesse und künstliche Intelligenz sinnvoll verbindet

Viele Unternehmen wollen „KI einsetzen“ – aber wissen oft nicht, wo sie anfangen sollen.
Der Schlüssel liegt in einem klaren Vorgehensmodell. Und genau hier hilft DMAIC – ein klassischer Lean-Six-Sigma-Rahmen – kombiniert mit moderner KI.


1. Define – Das Problem richtig verstehen
Bevor man Daten analysiert oder Modelle trainiert, muss klar sein:
Was ist das eigentliche Ziel? Wo steckt der größte Nutzen?
Hier hilft KI, indem sie Dokumente, E-Mails oder Prozessbeschreibungen automatisch durchsucht und die wichtigsten Themen, Risiken oder Zielkonflikte zusammenfasst.


2. Measure – Daten erfassen und prüfen
„Garbage in, garbage out“ gilt auch für KI.
Deshalb: erst messen, dann handeln.
KI-Assistenten können Datenquellen prüfen, Dubletten finden und Lücken erkennen – etwa in Lieferketten oder Qualitätsdaten.
So entstehen saubere, belastbare Messpunkte.


3. Analyze – Muster und Ursachen finden
Hier beginnt die Magie: KI erkennt Zusammenhänge, die Menschen oft übersehen.
Zum Beispiel:

Warum treten Lieferverzögerungen immer bei bestimmten Wetterbedingungen auf?
Welche Kombination von Parametern führt zu Qualitätsproblemen?

Mithilfe von KI-gestützten Analysen lassen sich solche Ursachen objektiv und schnell identifizieren.


4. Improve – Lösungen testen und simulieren
Anstatt direkt ins Risiko zu gehen, kann man mit KI Simulationen durchspielen:
Wie wirkt sich eine neue Bestellregel auf Lagerkosten aus?
Wie verändert sich die Durchlaufzeit, wenn man Lieferanten anders priorisiert?
KI-Modelle machen diese „Was-wäre-wenn-Szenarien“ greifbar – und liefern datenbasierte Entscheidungshilfen.


5. Control – Stabilität sichern
Auch nach der Verbesserung bleibt KI im Spiel:
Automatische Kontrollmechanismen erkennen, wenn Prozesse wieder aus der Spur geraten.
Ob durch Daten-Drift, Ausreißer oder Systemfehler – die KI meldet frühzeitig Abweichungen und hilft, den Kurs zu halten.


Drei einfache Beispiele aus der Praxis:

1. Bestandsmanagement: KI erkennt Anomalien in Lagerbeständen und schlägt neue Bestellmengen vor.
2. Lieferanten-Risikoanalyse: Verträge und E-Mails werden automatisch bewertet, um Risiken früh zu erkennen.
3. Transport-Optimierung: KI prognostiziert Lieferzeiten (ETA) und warnt bei drohenden Verspätungen.


Fazit
DMAIC liefert die Struktur.
KI liefert die Geschwindigkeit und Tiefe in der Analyse.
Gemeinsam entsteht ein klarer, wiederholbarer Weg – vom Problem bis zur stabilen Lösung.

AI-Kosten 2026: Wer keine Preisreserve plant, riskiert seine ROI-Story.

LLM-Preise, Kontextlängen und Token-Modelle ändern sich rasant. Die Folge: unerwartete OPEX-Spitzen.
Mein Rat für 2026-Budgets:
👉 Plane +10 – 20 % OPEX-Reserve für AI-APIs und Modelle ein.
👉 Überwache monatlich drei FinOps-Kennzahlen:

CPP (Cost per Prompt)
CPV (Cost per Value)
WUC (Waste-Usage Quote)

So bleibt dein ROI auch dann stabil, wenn Preise oder Nutzung explodieren.
Nenn es ruhig: Preisresiliente Produktivität.

Wie gehst du aktuell mit LLM-Kostenvolatilität in deinen Projekten um?

Große Transformationsprogramme haben häufig eine lange Planungs- und Konzeptionsphase. Gleichzeitig warten die Fachbereiche auf eine schnelle Hilfe um Kosten zu sparen, die Durchlaufzeit zu reduzieren oder mit dem Veränderungsdruck aus verschiedenen Richtungen umzugehen. 

Ein Mehrgenerationenplan (MGP) hat sich hier als nützlich erwiesen. Was ist das Ziel für die nächsten 6 bis 12 Monate, für das nächste Jahr oder darüber hinaus. Gleichzeitig kann mit KVP Workshops der Organisation kurzfristig geholfen werden. Bei General Electric hieß dies „die Blutung stoppen“. Und danach mit End2End Prozessoptimierungen und Lean Six Sigma Methoden die Prozesse auf das gewünschte Niveau heben. 

Ich sehe in unseren aktuellen Transformationen dass Unternehmen die Wichtigkeit von Prozessmanagement erkannt haben. Ohne Prozesse keine brauchbaren Daten und ohne brauchbare Daten wird es mit KI und der Digitalisierung sehr schwierig 🙂 Was ist Eure Erfahrung?

Even the biggest players now turn to external AI “forces” when speed and scalability matter.
The lesson? In the new AI era, success isn’t about building everything yourself — it’s about forming the right alliances.

Wenn sogar die Bundesbank KI einsetzt…

Bundesbank-Präsident Joachim Nagel nutzt eine eigene KI-Anwendung, um den Tonfall seiner Reden zu prüfen – also ob sie „hawkish“ oder „dovish“ klingen.
Warum? Schon kleine Nuancen in der Sprache können Märkte bewegen. Die KI hilft, unbeabsichtigte Signale zu vermeiden.

Spannend daran:

Die Bundesbank hat ein Modell namens MILA (Monetary-Intelligent Language Agent) entwickelt, das Reden Satz für Satz auf Tonalität und Kontext analysiert.
Nagel betont, dass die Reden weiterhin von Menschen geschrieben werden – die KI dient als Kontrollinstanz.
Er sieht auch Potenzial in der Bankenaufsicht und Risikoprüfung – also weit über Kommunikation hinaus.

Ein schönes Beispiel für „Human + AI“:
Menschen entscheiden, KI prüft, unterstützt und macht Entscheidungen robuster.

Figma × ServiceNow: From Design to Enterprise App in Minutes

A quiet revolution happened on November 6, 2025 — ServiceNow and Figma announced a partnership that could reshape how enterprise applications are built.

For the first time, a Figma design can directly generate a functional, secure ServiceNow app.
No more manual recreation of layouts or data models. No hand-off friction between design and development.


What’s new

The integration connects Figma’s Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server with ServiceNow’s Build Agent.
That means the agent doesn’t just “see” your design — it understands components, layout logic, and hierarchy.

A designer provides a Figma link.
The Build Agent interprets it, creates the UI, maps data structures, and produces an app that complies with ServiceNow’s governance, security, and audit frameworks.


Why it matters

Speed: Early pilots report an 80 % reduction in initial app-build time.
Governance: Generated apps inherit ServiceNow’s security and version control model.
Alignment: Design and development teams finally operate from the same source of truth.

One of the initial objections we often hear is: “Oh, so Cubish is just an app that geolocates content.” ❌ In reality, this is a misunderstanding.

There are hundreds of apps that geolocate data and content in the real world 🌍, Google being the first. But try organizing hundreds or thousands of pieces of content in the same location using these platforms, and the result is total chaos ⚠️ (see image below).

Cubish does more than just geolocate content. Its strength lies in organizing large amounts of content and data in the same space, in this case a 10x10 cube 🧊, solving a real technical problem: content overlap and collision management.

The Cubish system manages content through multiple layers and patented priority rules, preventing conflicts between elements and allowing the orderly overlap of multiple contributions in the same real-world space. Essentially, this makes it possible for multiple “realities” with different data to coexist, and in the future, even overlapping immersive realities in the same location 🎮. It is like having hundreds of different Pokémon Go games in the same spot without creating chaos.

Imagine what would happen without this system. John creates a piece of content at a location, but it is not useful or high-quality, so the space is wasted. Michael, on the other hand, had a great idea to enhance that spot, but John has already “occupied” the space. The result is that the structure fails to share value because it is constrained by low-impact content and built on a single imaginary layer.

With Cubish, this cannot happen ✅. Thanks to multi-layer management and priority rules, John, Michael, or anyone else can enrich the same location, creating an overall effect of shared value where content integrates and amplifies each other.

So yes, Cubish uses geolocation, but it is not the main feature. The real innovation lies in the structure of the Cubes, Cube Domains, and Expansions, a completely new, patented system not immediately recognizable unless explored in depth, which revolutionizes the way content is organized and experienced in both real and immersive spaces. 🚀

The Peaceful Coexistence Between Web Domains and Spatial Domains 🌍

Whenever something new emerges, there is always a mix of curiosity and apprehension. But innovation does not necessarily imply replacing what already exists.

Spatial domains represent a new generation of domains. They no longer live exclusively on the classic web but take root in reality, in physical places. They extend at the discretion of their owners like a “cloak” over the real world, coexisting with it invisibly, without overlapping, and offering gateways to the digital world directly within physical space. This is what makes Cubish domains unique. ✨

They were not created to replace traditional web domains, but to extend their reach beyond the online digital realm. The classic web will continue to function as a vast archive of accessible data; spatial domains allow that content to gradually “spill over” into the real world, in the places that best represent the information they contain.
