HeyReach just got banned by LinkedIn ❌ 
We've run 200+ campaigns with them. Here's my opinion 👇

Of all the LinkedIn tools out there, HeyReach was one of the most careful.

They respected rate limits.
They built for safety.
They did everything right
... and they still got banned.

Which means no one is safe.
Because this isn't about compliance.
 
LinkedIn is playing a different game entirely.
Every tool that monetizes their data better than they do is a target.

Automation tools first.
Then enrichment.
Then analytics.
 
LinkedIn is closing the loop, slowly, then all at once.
Worth noting, existing campaigns are still running, users are not affected.
 
The right question to ask isn't "which tool do I switch to?"
It's:

They're not.

Clay is separating what the platform does from what the data costs.

For GTM teams, that clarity matters, and it sets them up to charge properly for the orchestration features coming next.
 
Across the 70+ clients we run GTM for, 
the teams that will feel this most are the ones doing serious enrichment work inside Clay, and for them, this is a genuine win 🏆 
 
Clay also publicly said this will cost them 10% in revenue short term.

Have you heard of Manus AI?

People have been going crazy about it, or at least that's what I've been flooded with on my social feeds.

If this is your first time hearing about it, let me share the info I ave gathered from what I've been seeing:

→ Instead of just giving outputs, Manus is designed to actually execute tasks end-to-end without needing constant input at every step.
→ It can analyze large datasets and surface insights automatically, asl well as build reports, dashboards, presentations, and even full documents.
→ It can run multi-step workflows without needing constant prompts
→ You can connect it to tools like Google, Zapier, etc. and it'll execute tasks across them

The craziest thing I've seen though, is that it can integrate directly into your Meta Ads Manager, and will essentially act like an AI ads analyst inside your account.

That way, it can:
→ Automatically generate campaign reports (no manual exports or spreadsheets)
→ Analyze performance across campaigns and summarize what’s working
→ Identify drops in performance before you notice them
→ Break down audience performance and suggest targeting improvements

A brand took one of the most boring, commoditized categories (cleaning supplies) and turned it into a £40M business in just a few years.

Purdy & Figg grew 10,900% from £452K to £50M between 2021 and 2024. They're acquiring 9,000 new customers per month, and nearly 50% of those customers subscribe to recurring deliveries.

In the cleaning products category. Let that sink in.

Here's what they did differently:

1. They created a new category
Instead of competing with Flash or Zoflora on price, they positioned themselves as a wellness brand that happens to make cleaning products.

2. They focused on simplicity
Their Counter Clean product replaces up to 15 traditional cleaning products. Simplifies the customer's life while increasing value.

3. They nailed the subscription model
They offer deep discounts on starter kits (sometimes 65% off) to drive acquisition, knowing the lifetime value of a subscriber is much higher than a one-time buyer.

4. They built through influencer marketing
300K+ TikTok followers, 50+ macro influencers per month, and 27 micro-influencer seeding campaigns focused on authentic content.

5. They stayed DTC
They deliberately avoided mass retail to maintain higher margins, brand control, and subscription focus.

Purdy & Figg won because they repositioned a boring category, built a subscription model that works, and executed flawlessly on marketing.

That's replicable in almost any industry.

You learn more from things not working than from things working, even though it might not feel like it in the moment.

But when something doesn’t work, you slow down, you start asking better questions, you look at what you missed, and you pay attention to details you would have ignored if it had gone right.

That’s because failure forces you to think.

It forces you to understand why something didn’t go as planned, instead of just assuming you’ve figured it out, and over time, those moments compound.

You start recognizing patterns, you make better decisions faster, and you trust your judgment more.

Working teaches you what to repeat.

Not working teaches you how to think.

Weekends used to feel like an escape.

Something to look forward to so I could just switch off for a bit and not think about work. Close the laptop, ignore notifications, and mentally check out.

But over time, that’s changed.

Now weekends feel less like an escape… and more like space. Space to actually think.

During the week, everything feels urgent. There’s always something to respond to, something to fix, something that needs your attention right now.

You’re moving fast, but you don’t always have time to step back and look at things properly.

The weekend creates that gap, And in that gap, things start to make more sense.

You can see what actually matters and what doesn’t. You realize not everything needed to be handled immediately. You start connecting dots that weren’t obvious in the middle of a busy week.

It’s less about switching your brain off, and more about finally having the room to use it properly.

I think your relationship with work changes when you get to that point.

You stop needing to escape it. And instead, you start using that time to reset how you approach it.

We started working with this brand just before BFCM.

Like most brands, Nov–Dec performed well with the peak sale period:
→ $496K total revenue

But the real focus for us wasn’t just maximizing that window…

We focused on priming the list properly:
– Cleaning up segmentation
– Building out stronger flows
– Improving campaign targeting
– Making sure we weren’t over-relying on discounts

Fast forward to Jan–Feb:
→ $619K total revenue (+28% vs peak months)
→ $296K attributed revenue (+25%)
→ Higher revenue per recipient
→ Increased SMS contribution

That’s always the goal for us, not just helping brands win during peak periods, but setting them up to keep performing long after they’re over.

We started working with this brand just before BFCM.

"Underpromise, overdeliver" is the worst business advice I ever followed.

For years, I bought into the idea that you should set low expectations and then blow people away by exceeding them.

Sounds smart, right? Wrong.

Here's what actually happens when you underpromise:

1. You attract the wrong clients
When you set low expectations upfront, you attract clients who are looking for low-commitment, low-investment solutions.

2. You lose deals to competitors who promise more
While you're busy underpromising, your competitor is confidently saying "We'll get you there in 3 months." Guess who gets the deal? Not you.

3. You create a culture of low standards
When you tell your team "Just promise less so we can overdeliver," you're teaching them to aim low.

The better approach: Promise accurately, deliver consistently:

1. Set realistic expectations based on data
Tell them exactly what you can deliver based on past results.

2. Be confident in your capabilities
Confidence is knowing what you're capable of and communicating it clearly.

3. Build in buffers without lowering the promise
Instead of promising less, promise accurately and build buffers into your process.

4. Overdeliver on experience, not just results
Instead of overdelivering on the outcome (which sets a new baseline), overdeliver on the experience.

→ Respond faster than expected
→ Provide more insights and education
→ Be more available and communicative
→ Anticipate needs before they ask

5. Underpromise on timeline, not outcome
If you want to build in safety, underpromise on when you'll deliver, not what you'll deliver.

Bottom line:

Promise what you can deliver. Deliver what you promise. Overdeliver on experience.

That's how you build trust, win clients, and create long-term relationships.

Not everything needs to be shared.

Somewhere along the way, we started believing that every moment needs to be documented.

The wins, the struggles, and the in-between moments, all posted in real time.

But if you really think about it... we’re opening ourselves up to outside opinions way too freely.

You could easily have other people shape how you feel about something that’s still unfolding, without even noticing it's happening. And that’s the part most people don’t realize.

Not everything needs immediate validation.
Not everything needs commentary.
Not everything needs to be explained while it’s still raw.

Some things are better built quietly, processed privately, and understood fully before they’re shared.

When you give yourself that space, your perspective becomes your own—not something influenced by noise, opinions, or reactions.

There’s a difference between sharing to express and sharing because you feel like you should.

And I think more people are starting to realize that not everything needs to be public.

You can tell a lot about where someone is in life by what they tolerate.

Not what they say they want.
Not what they post.
Not what they plan to do.

What they allow.

The conversations they stay in.
The situations they don’t question.
The standards they quietly accept.

Because over time, what you tolerate becomes your normal, and what’s normal becomes your life.

Most changes don’t start with doing something new.

They start with deciding what you’re no longer okay with.
