I had 539 "coffees meetings" in 2025.

I'm done.

I don't know which guru told expats:

"have 3 coffees with them and then talk business"

Because I've realized I either end up getting pitched.

OR get that "sense" of a hidden agenda.

OR it becomes a clear "consult me for free as I distract you with a potential partnership".

Confession: I accepted some of those meetings only because I had a headache and needed coffee.

So the phrases I suggest you run away from:

- "Let's COLLABORATE" - collaborate on what?
- "Let's explore SYNERGIES" - synergy who?
- "Let's EXPLORE" - explore what?

These people want to "see what you do" but don't need it.

They want to "keep you in mind" but really don't care.

They want to "explore synergies" when there are no synergies.

It's just "look at me work" disguised as business development.

The coffee culture & tradition is beautiful.

The "coffee meeting" culture is a toxic version of it.

It's now being abused.

You don't need more coffee meetings.

You need fewer meetings with the right people.

Filter, then filter, then filter.

And protect your calendar.

The right "synergy" will come without the mandatory "coffee"

I have 13 employees...1 is human.

(the human costs 42x more)

Everyone says they "use AI".

I ask them how:

"I open ChatGPT, type something, copy paste, done."

If you hired a consultant. and gave them ZERO context about your business.

Then, you asked them 1 vague question.

You wouldn't expect world-class results.

You'd even fire them asap.

But that's exactly how you're "using" AI.

And end up blaming the technology.

"But AI doesn't write like me".

Here's what I did instead:

I stopped using AI.

I started hiring it.

Think of it this way:

Every AI agent gets a proper CV (like humans).

- They have a soul (interest & personality)
- They have skills (education & certificates)
- They have experiences (learnings from doing)

My copy AI writes better than a copy writer I hired in 2020 for $4k/mo.

I named all of them:

1. Mohammad is the CEO (reports to me)
2. Maitha is his secretary (admin work)
3. Mansour is the LinkedIn specialist

(don't judge)

They ask for a $20/month salary.

Without "notice periods" or "we need to talk".

And when one underperforms, I don't call HR.

I don't schedule an awkward meeting.

I hit delete and they're fired.

Exactly.

I'm not saying fire your whole team.

I'm saying you're doing the work of 13 people when you could hire all 13 for $20/month.

Unless your time is worth $20/month?

Your AI can work 24 hours.

They don't call in sick.

They don't quit.

They get BETTER every week.

You tell me:

Why are you still doing everything yourself?

My guess:

"You don't know where to begin"

(that's what I hear the most)

That's the only barrier.

Once you hire your first one, you won't go back.

That viral AI adoption graph is a LIE.

"Only 0.34% of people truly use AI"

You read that & felt special for using ChatGPT.

You felt like Einstein.

And that's by design.

It's a pat on the back for YOU. 

And the perfect sales pitch for THEM.

I was also happy when I saw those stats too.

I wanted it to be true so I leverage it.

But I proved it wrong after research.

ChatGPT has 900 million weekly active users.

AI hit 1.2 billion users in under 3 years.

It's the fastest adopted technology in history.

It's faster than the internet.

It's faster than the smartphone.

In the UAE, we have the highest adoption in the world.

64% of the working population uses AI tools.

97% of government entities use AI.

And globally, 94% of companies use AI in at least one function.

So why does that graph keep going viral?

Because "only 0.34% use AI" sells better than "everyone already has it".

That feeling of "being behind" makes you buy:

- Courses & memberships
- Consulting packages
- Coaching and masterminds

(all built on the promise that you're "early")

I hate to say this, but you're not early.

You were a couple of months ago.

But not today.

Being "AI-first" is no longer a selling point.

It's expected.

Your clients assume you're using it.

If you're not, something feels off to them.

They just won't tell you why they went somewhere else.

The question isn't "should I learn AI?"

That ship has sailed.

The question is "what am I building with it?"

I sold $76k in May from posts I wrote in January.

I've tracked $1m+ of our sales in consulting:

- Across 16 offer variations
- With 250+ clients
- And 20 months of data

And the BIGGEST finding wasn't about hooks.

It wasn't about a well-designed LinkedIn profile.

It wasn't even about personal brand.

It was this:

1. Know what you'll sell in 3-5 months
2. Start building context for it today

Because context pillars > content pillars.

The goal of your content today is to build CONTEXT.

And to train your audience "indirectly" that something is coming.

Because they're reading.

They're watching.

But 97% are not ready to buy "yet".

(they will be in 3-5 months)

I tell you this because I ignored it.

And paid the price in "revenue drop".

You may remember in Feb 2025, I wrote about:

- "How to quit your job"
- "How to build a consulting business"
- "How to be free without your boss knowing"

That's what led to $76,000 in profits in May.

Because I launched an offer around exactly that.

But I messed up this revenue line right after.

Why?

Because I landed a BIG whale client in AI.

My focus shifted, and my content became AI-focused.

That's when I saw engagement drop.

I launched the AI offer anyway.

I got -80% sales from the same audience.

So now I don't plan posts.

I plan what my audience needs to believe before I sell.

If I'm selling in June, I start writing context in March.

The posts are the setup.

The offer is the payoff.

And if you're posting every day but your offers still flop, don't touch your sales page.

Go back and read what you wrote 3 months ago.

That's where it broke.

We know that'll never happen.

I get it... you're not technical.

Also, you have no clue where to begin.

And you're in a country that has a Minister of AI.

A country running at 97% government AI adoption.

The country moved into the future. 

And you haven't.

But that's not a you problem.

The barrier was never intelligence.

The barrier was never being "technical".

The barrier was seeing HOW it works.

That's your way in.

Find your someone, and come to the dark side.

 Was this what the 10-year-old you wanted?

 Was this the life you dreamed of the day you graduated?

 What happened?

 All those work calls & emails marked "urgent" are really not.

All those fires burning can burn a little longer.

 (it can all wait)

 But your life has been in emergency for years.

 Now let me say this with genuine care:

 You put yourself in this spot.

 It's not the "I have bills you don't get it".

It's not "life is not fair and just happens".

 It's YOU.

 The good news: it's easy to change.

 You're already being paid for something by the market.

You have the AI super power in your hands to outwork and outcompete anyone you want.

 You just need decide.

 Don't worry about:

- Conflict of interest marketing yourself
- Uncertainty of a consistent & safe income
- Starting from 0 with no corporate leverage

None of those will matter when your "boss" decides to kick you out.

 The point is, you can have:

- MORE time with your kids

I went through all 341 posts I wrote in 19 months.

(most of what I believed was wrong)

I thought my best content was my smartest content.

The "MASSIVE value" posts (Tony Robbins style).

Or the posts that were "useful".

But the data told me I was wrong.

My worst 20 posts averaged 37 engagements.

My best 20 averaged 283.

That's a 7.6x gap.

And it had nothing to do with how "valuable" the content was.

My personal stories outperformed everything else by 36%.

Every time I talked about quitting my $300k PhD, going broke, starting from zero...people didn't just like the post.

They stopped scrolling and typed.

The comment-to-like ratio on personal stories was 0.59.

And 0.40 on my "smart" AI content.

People here don't engage with information.

They engage with TRANSFORMATION.

50 of my posts were pure AI content with a "smart" hook.

They averaged 85 engagements.

Which is 30% below my average.

Those 50 posts made up nearly 15% of everything I wrote.

And they were dragging this entire account down.

But when I wrapped AI inside a personal story or case study, the numbers jumped right back up.

It was the same exact topic.

But it got a COMPLETELY different result.

I also found that my best posts were almost twice as long as my worst.

- Winners: 384 words, 45 short paragraphs
- Losers: 222 words, 25 paragraphs

With more empty lines (like this ^).

And the emotional arc mattered more than the content itself.

My top 3 posts started with pain & ended with hope.

My bottom posts stayed flat.

"My client Sally made $5" just flops. 

You don't need more content.

You don't need to post every single day.

You need the right 100 people reading the right story at the right time.

That's worth more than 10,000 followers scrolling past your "valuable" post.

The data doesn't lie.

And it doesn't care about how smart you sound.

It only cares about how much you make people feel.

(give them the "feels")

I read 8,182 competitor emails from ~3 years.

Here's the guide to beat your market:

I'll be blunt: 

99% of your market are copying each other.

I mapped it for mine.

I know who copied who, when, and in what order.

(also put it in a public report for you to see)

I've subscribed to 47 coaches, consultants, and mentors on a burner account.

Then, I downloaded everything they sent since late 2023.

I ran some analytics (K-means, PCA, etc.) on:

- 8,182 emails
- 379 product launches
- 28 months of market evolution

What I found: it's the same business with different faces.

And they all "pivot" the same time.

For example: 35 out of 47 used "$250/week" pricing.

It was from a guy adopting it in July 2024. 

Another branding it "Offer Shell" in January 2025. 

By September, the entire market copied it.

The curve was interesting to see.

For the email subject, they copied it EXACTLY.

(the highest earners kept it 35 chars btw)

For their launches:

- 73% lead with social proof
- 40% use urgency
- And proof beats pressure by 1.8x.

For their CTAs: 

The top earners don't use links to sign people up.

They use "reply with [keyword]". 

And what separated the top 3 from others:

- They email daily (1.0-1.67 emails/day)
- They sell in EVERY email, not in "launch windows"
- They have 4 tiers ($27 product → $149 workshop → $350/wk coaching → $10K install)

Now coming to the "AI" part:

56% of their delivery is automatable TODAY.

Only 3 out of 47 have more than 15% AI in their offers.

The other 44 are exposed and don't know it.

The 12-month projection for this space is:

(my hypothesis)

First AI-delivered offer drops at $100-150/week, even less.

$250/week gets compressed from both sides.

And the market splits: 

- SIDE 1: premium human ($500+/wk) 
- SIDE 2: AI-native ($100-200/wk)

And those in the middle get crushed.

Oh and zero of them target Dubai or the MENA region.

Copy-paste the whole thing into AI and you'll know more about their strategy than they do.

I turned all of it into one playbook.

I scraped 875 of my own LinkedIn posts last week.

I built an AI system to pull every post I ever wrote since 2022.

Then I ran the numbers.

- Median engagement Q4 2024: 144
- Median engagement today: 45

A 69% drop in 5 months.

My first instinct was to blame the algorithm.

"THE NEW ALGO!"

(the classic response)

But then I looked at the actual data.

My top 20 posts were 85% image format.

My bottom 20 were 100% text-only.

My top 20 opened with a number or a stat.

My bottom 20 opened with a flat statement.

94% of my posts had ZERO call to action.

The 6% that did, they got 17x more engagement.

I used to write about quitting my PhD.

About $100 left in my bank account.

About selling 22 properties.

About 539 coffee meetings.

Those personal stories got 158 median engagement.

Then I slowly replaced them with generic consulting advice.

(a polite way of saying: I got lazy with my own content)

The consulting posts without a personal angle had a median of 11.

I was posting more. 

Getting less.

And I was blaming LinkedIn for a problem I created with my own hands.

The hardest part was seeing it in the data.

I stopped wrapping business lessons in my story.

I stopped adding CTAs.

I stopped using hooks that made people click "see more".

I started posting content I would scroll past myself.

So here is what changes:

Every post gets an image or carousel. 

Every post opens with a real number from my life.

And at least 2 posts a week go back to the personal story format.

The algorithm didn't change "much".

I changed.

If your engagement dropped, don't look at LinkedIn.

Look at your last 50 posts.

Then compare them to your best 10.

The gap is your answer.
