Frank Trotter has been involved in the banking business since 1981. In 1998, he became a co-founder of everBank.com, a national direct-to-consumer bank which was acquired by EverBank Financial in 2004. From 1998 through the sale of EverBank Financial Corp to TIAA in 2017, he served in various executive capacities including Chairman of everBank.com, President of EverBank Direct, and Chairman of EverBank Wealth Management. From 1981 through 1997, Frank served Mark Twain Banks in various capacities including Vice President of Commercial Lending, and President of Mark Twain International Markets. In 1986, Frank created the WorldCurrency® deposit product for Mark Twain Banks and operated this business through 1997. In 2000, everBank.com acquired this business from the successor of Mark Twain Banks and operated the product line at EverBank. Frank holds a Bachelor of Arts from St Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota and an MBA from Washington University in Saint Louis, Missouri.

Over four years in the making - we are cracking open the doors.

This morning we sent our first batch of reservation codes to the Battle Bank Waitlist.

We're going to walk before we run to insure that our services levels are superlative and that account openings are moving through swiftly.

There may be a few bumps in the road, but we'll fill the potholes if and when they appear.

Well I am certainly not on mountain here but it was a great day to be at the Saint Louis Zoo.  It's all set up from lighted evening walks and from an old hand at walking around the property looks rather different.

At Battle Bank we are thrilled as we start to open accounts.

We are working through the Waitlist, slowly and methodically.

It's great to actually be taking clients and hearing great feedback from them.

Inch by inch.

Onward and upward

Saint Louis Zoo . . . 

Two weeks ago we held our breath and started sending invitations to our Waitlist.

Methodically. Slowly. Watching carefully.

We reviewed the results as people reacted and signed up for accounts. A few bumps along the way, but we’ve taken care of that.

We’re sure that even after staring at the systems while we tested over the past three years, clients will find some new way to stump us. If so, we’ll get to work and fix it.

Now we are going to start opening the door wider. Still watching. Still making sure that client service is great.

Not a surprise, but the first unsolicited compliments have come in to the Client Services team.

This sure sounds like a bank – lots of checked boxes – ready to roll.

Check - Debit cards are ordered with payments and cash withdrawals doing great

As we continue to open accounts for slices of the Waitlist, and field questions from others, I wanted to talk a little bit here about delivering precious metals to Battle Bank.

As you know we'll be accepting clients for the US and Canada, and we have storage partners in both countries.

To enter a conversation to receive specific instructions about how to deliver your metals to Battle Bank email the Battle team at globalmarkets@battlebank.com

Of course you can purchase metals once you open a Global Markets account with Battle Bank.  If you are already storing at a dealer, email us to see if we already have a partner relationship with them.

If you want to open a line of credit against your metals holdings, what we call a MELOCtm (metals equity line of credit), our initial collateral minimum is a market value of $100,000.

We are looking forward to having you as a client.

We've been fielding a lot of questions from our new clients and others about precious metals at Battle Bank.

Many want to purchase metals from Battle Bank, and others are interested in opening a MELOC - a metals equity line of credit to access the liquidity in what has become quite a highly appreciated asset.

We have been accepting deliveries of metals from clients through our relationship with Brinks in the US and Canada.  If you have metals to deliver, you can contact the Global Markets desk at globalmarkets@battlebank.com to walk through the details of a delivery, and understand what forms of metals we are accepting.

Of course trading of metals and foreign currencies are up and running for clients.

We've been slowly working through the Waitlist, and we'll open that gate a bit more this week.  If you are not on the Waitlist it'll be some time before you can open an account.
