A thought leader and community builder dedicated to empowering others through purpose driven initiatives. 

Terri is the founder of both Talks With M.S. and The Empowerment Awards .  Living with relapsing-remitting MS (diagnosed at 27), she launched Talks With M.S. as a community driven charity that creates safe spaces and support for people affected by Multiple Sclerosis.  Inspired by her personal journey and family’s experiences, Terri has become an MS educator and advocate.  She also created The Empowerment Awards, a hybrid event recognizing individuals and organizations making incredible strides in disability advocacy and accessibility .  Through these initiatives she amplifies underrepresented voices and champions positive change.

Terri is widely recognized for her leadership in advocacy, inclusion, and healthcare equity.  As a Black woman with MS, she strives to be “a voice for the voiceless,” addressing cultural barriers to care and increasing visibility of non-visible disabilities.  Her writing and outreach work emphasize accessibility and diverse representation within the MS and broader disability communities  .  Under her guidance, Talks With M.S. has become one of only two Black-led MS charities in the UK , empowering communities often overlooked by mainstream healthcare.

Beyond her nonprofit work, Terri leverages her professional expertise to advise businesses on accessibility and inclusion.  She runs a consulting practice teaching companies how to create more inclusive workplaces , from adopting assistive technologies to retention strategies that value disabled employees.  In her role with Sistas In Sales (a global network empowering women of color in sales), she uniquely bridges the sales, healthcare and business sectors, using strategic partnerships and community building to amplify social impact.
