•	Review real estate entity trial balances prepared by 3rd party management agent, and prepare adjusting journal entries to be posted to the general ledger

•	Coordinate with property development team to ensure that all development costs are properly recorded
•	Prepare/review entries to record complex accounting transactions such as refinances and property purchases

•	Responsible for the planning, execution, review and completion of financial statement audits and ensuring proper staffing, budgeting and tracking occurs throughout the process to management
•	Consulted directly with clients on audit and accounting issues, as well as other critical business matters
•	Reviewed work papers, documents and cleared the adjusting journal entries to complete the final financial statements, draft the management letter, opinion, cash flow and complex footnotes to disclose per regulations and authorities for Federal (HUD) , state agency and investor (LIHTC and HTC) requirements

ABOUT ME:
I was born to create. As a young child I painted, arranged flowers and sewed beautiful clothing. I always felt a desire to create something out of nothing.

My career began in the fashion industry as an owner and head designer of a childrenswear company. Amongst our clients were JCPenney, Saks Fifth Ave and Neiman Marcus. When my husband suddenly passed away, I put on a hard hat and learned the ropes of running Act2 Glass, a company he built from the ground up.

My work involved many visits to construction sites which taught me the importance of working hand in hand with builders, architects and designers to achieve the best results for the client.

When my son Yaakov took over the management of Act2 Glass, I was able to go back to the creative work that I Iove - Designing, planning and creating.
