My career spans leadership roles at technology, energy, and pharmaceutical giants including Tata Consultancy Services, National Grid, Verizon, and Bristol Myers Squibb. At TCS, I helped transform the company's reputation from a lesser-known IT services provider into a globally recognized digital transformation partner for Fortune 500 clients, contributing to brand value growth from $5B to $14B over my seven-year tenure. This transformation required rebuilding narratives, executive
positioning, and stakeholder relationships across multiple markets.

I've built and led global communications teams ranging from 20 to 50+ members across North America, EMEA, APAC, and LATAM regions. My approach focuses on three core elements: authentic narrative development that aligns with business strategy, internal capability building that empowers teams to execute consistently, and external relationship management that builds lasting credibility with key stakeholders including media, investors, regulators, and employees.

Growing up, I hated losing.


but i could always accept it when someone was genuinely better.

I've carried that into my career.

I've lost awards before, and when the better work won... fair enough.

What I could never accept was seeing genuinely brilliant work never even get entered.

teams that spent months on research, got the data right, built something that shaped the narrative...

and then... nothing. 

on to the next brief. no one stopped to say 'that was exceptional.'

That happens in b2b thought leadership all the time.

and it never sat right with me.

it's a big reason we built the TLFT Awards.

we're not judging the flashiest campaign or the biggest media spend.

We judge on the 4Rs:
→ revenue generated
→ relationships built
→ reputation earned
→ real-world impact made

Tyrona Heath and a team of judges are again heading up the judging. When they are evaluating your work, they are looking for substance, not polish.
