This is the section, where I tell you about how my degree in computer science catapulted me into the world of tech right?

That couldn't be further from the truth,  I did a law degree at the University of Sussex, and realized very quickly that I didn't want to spend anymore time reading case law.

Worked for a large engineering company in London for a while, started moving up the corporate ladder, before deciding to relocate to Salt Lake City ( just to let everyone know there are far less pubs here)

I then found the world of technology and start ups & I haven't looked back.

I am extremely passionate about building relationships and tackling tough problems, specifically in the customer success and partnerships space.

I also have a personal interest in social impact and corporate social responsibility, so much so that I decided to start a business that focuses on B2B charitable gifting (check out Go Give)

Most CRM startups are fighting for SEO traffic scraps right now.

So when I saw Brevo sitting around 600,000 monthly organic visits (in perhaps the most competitive SEO niche), my first thought was... how?

Here’s what jumped out at me: They’re winning by doing the boring stuff really well.

They keep updating their key pillar posts, and you can feel it. Fresh dates, fresh sources, intent-matching content and current year stats.

Recency matters more than people want to admit, for SEO and for AI answer engines like ChatGPT.

Their “What is email marketing?” guide is a great example:

✅ It leads with a clean definition in the first sentence
✅ It uses an “at-a-glance” takeaway box that’s made for skimmers (and AI)
✅ It has a tight table of contents, solid headers, and FAQs at the end

This is the kind of structure that keeps showing up in AI citations.

The part I didn’t expect though... 

A huge chunk of Brevo's SEO traffic is from brand search terms, roughly 400,000 of that 600,000. 

That’s not a problem, but it’s a signal. An early warning indicator.

It means the market remembers their name, even when clicks are getting harder to earn.

One more interesting miss...

Brevo's email templates library looks good, but it’s built in a way that can’t rank well. This is a smart programmatic SEO play, but the strategy falls short.

❌ Templates open in a modal, not on their own SEO-optimized landing pages.
❌ No unique URLs, no real text to copy, thin content.
❌ Templates are static images, not SEO-rich text that'll work for traffic growth

There's a lot of SEO value left on the table.

In today's review, I break down Brevo's marketing wins—and shine a light on the areas they stand to gain meaningful SEO traffic by tightening things up + adding (simple) new organic acquisition channels.
