I fell into start-ups by joining a shabby outfit above an industrial garage in South Wimbledon, then known as Streetcar. That business exited to Zipcar which eventually sold to Avis for a cool half a billion.

At MyBuilder, it became clear marketing was the function where I could add most impact. We grew that business and exited to IAC (Expedia, Trivago). 

Since then I’ve worked with and advised multiple companies in growth and marketing, with roles like Head of Brand, Head of Marketing, Marketing Director and Chief Marketing Officer. 

I love a bit of stradegee, but will never get tired of hands-on building, whether it’s creative, copywriting, PPC, SEO or paid search.

LOVESPACE is one of the fastest growing consumer brands. We’re the UK’s first storage-by-the-box service, based in London, founded and VC-backed by the people who brought you Streetcar (now Zipcar). We collect things (mostly in boxes) from people’s front doors, look after them for as long as they want, and then return them whenever and wherever they want them. We’re their virtual loft, garage or store-cupboard.

Key responsibilities: 
•	Managing and developing a team of 3 full time staff and a cohort of interns
•	Leading the development of a customer-centric business, determining customer service policy, retention and CRM strategies
•	Playing integral role in the development of the overarching customer experience
•	Setting, managing and delivering the customer service KPIs, reporting to Directors and Board members
•	Working in partnership with Head of Operations to develop logistics strategy and close gaps in process, ensuring the business and customer needs are always met
•	Played a vital role in rebrand of business (Nov 2013) liaising with external branding agency and developers
