Web3 Doers is a community of Thought Leaders, Content Creators, and Founders with already more than 1,400 members. 

The PRO members constitute a core team of 46 highly experienced individuals from various fields and backgrounds.

In December 2023, I volunteered to take on a "pro bono" function as Chief of Staff to help Web3 Doers founder Chris Koronowski structure and grow the community further in 2024 and beyond.

Alkimi is the world’s first decentralized advertising exchange, leveraging web3 and blockchain technology to provide publishers and advertisers with significantly lower fees, better data and a more efficient infrastructure compared to legacy ad exchanges.    

My responsibilities as VP of Ecosystem Growth included:  

* Active member of the Leadership Team working closely with the three co-founders  
* Helping the project founders define & execute the overall growth strategy 
* Overseeing strategic initiatives and working closely with team leads across various regions (e.g. UK, India, New Zealand)
* Helping scale the global team from 7 to 50+ globally
* Fostering collaboration across departments incl. sales, marketing, product and client services
* Ensuring accountability and progress on business KPIs and roadmap, incl. launch of MVP and later iterations
* Creating and optimising internal tools and processes for improved scalability
* Working with teams to focus on value proposition and story telling
* Participating in Marketing activities (e.g. podcasts, conferences) to help educate the target audience of the financial (ROI) and technical advantages of Alkimi's blockchain-based solution

When consumers see content from people like them, they are more confident making the right purchasing decision. The Bazaarvoice Network allows brands to syndicate content they collect (such as reviews, questions & answers or visual content from social media networks) to retailers, significantly extending the reach of each individual piece of content. This helps our brand and retail clients instill consumer confidence to drive more sales, loyalty, and trust - maximising each critical moment with consumers as they research or purchase products.

Team Lead Responsibilities in addition to the Solution Consultant role:

Support and Improve the Solution Consulting Team

* Help define team goals 
* Suggest improvements and additions to field enablement materials to support the team
* Suggest Solution Consulting best practices
* Serve as sounding board for manager on how to implement management aims and objectives
* Serve as backup point of contact for escalations when manager is unavailable
* Continuously work to improve relations between SC team and other teams across the business
* Plan, organise and contribute to team meetings
* Work closely with regional team leads to ensure alignment

Subject Matter Expert (SME) program within the Solution Consulting organisation

* Management of SME program – support the cross-functional program with support from the manager (process & tools, documentation, training, maintaining & optimising)
* Work with SC SMEs to fulfil the roles and responsibilities of the SME
* Work closely with the product organisation to ensure that the SMEs are getting the resources and access that they need to be effective
* Continuous evolution of the SME program to make it a effective knowledge sharing tool across the company

Organise trainings for the SC team 

* Work with team manager to determine areas in which the team needs training 
* Develop lesson plans
* Delegate training roles to team

Key responsibilites: 

* Primary opportunity partner for Sales Directors providing product as well as contextual business expertise both internally as well as directly to prospects.

* Capture and document key client requirements from a professional services and technical implementation perspective.

* Prepare and present both standard as well as custom demonstrations of Bazaarvoice products and solutions to prospective clients.

* Support Sales Director in preparing the business case for a prospect and validate the business proposal.

* Validate technical feasibility of new client projects and hand over to assigned internal team

* Represent the company at client and prospect events, sharing best practices and presenting products

I'm originally from Germany, but have lived, studied and worked in Spain, the US, the UK and France over the past two decades. This leaves me fluent in German, English and French as well as with a high cultural awareness.

Over the past 12 years, I have specialised in both technical and very sales-oriented, cross-functional roles in the SaaS industry. My core strength is to be able to understand both the technical and the business aspects of a solution and to translate needs and requirements between various teams such as sales, marketing, development, legal or product in order to find the best solution. 

In addition to my experience in SaaS, I have also been educating myself about blockchain, web3 and AI since 2017. In 2021, I started www.howtobegincrypto.com and Aequitas Consulting as a side business to help educate people and businesses on the profound opportunities web3 has to offer today and in the years ahead. I do so using courses and 1-1 coaching, and by teaching a web3 section of a Masters Degree on Financial Education at the University of Lille, France.

My passion for web3 came in particularly handy in my most recent role with Alkimi Exchange, where I helped the team build out a blockchain-based advertising exchange solution and bring it into an existing industry that is worth hundreds of billions of dollars per year.

Last but not least, I strongly believe that learning and teaching is a never-ending journey and live by this mantra in my (volunteer) role as Chief of Staff at Web3 Doers, a community of technology enthusiasts that aim to stay at the forefront of technology.
