I'm originally from Germany, but have lived, studied and worked in Spain, the US, the UK and France over the past two decades. This leaves me fluent in German, English and French as well as with a high cultural awareness.

Over the past 12 years, I have specialised in both technical and very sales-oriented, cross-functional roles in the SaaS industry. My core strength is to be able to understand both the technical and the business aspects of a solution and to translate needs and requirements between various teams such as sales, marketing, development, legal or product in order to find the best solution. 

In addition to my experience in SaaS, I have also been educating myself about blockchain, web3 and AI since 2017. In 2021, I started www.howtobegincrypto.com and Aequitas Consulting as a side business to help educate people and businesses on the profound opportunities web3 has to offer today and in the years ahead. I do so using courses and 1-1 coaching, and by teaching a web3 section of a Masters Degree on Financial Education at the University of Lille, France.

My passion for web3 came in particularly handy in my most recent role with Alkimi Exchange, where I helped the team build out a blockchain-based advertising exchange solution and bring it into an existing industry that is worth hundreds of billions of dollars per year.

Last but not least, I strongly believe that learning and teaching is a never-ending journey and live by this mantra in my (volunteer) role as Chief of Staff at Web3 Doers, a community of technology enthusiasts that aim to stay at the forefront of technology.

Most humans care about things that are either quantitative (eg, money, time, data) or qualitative (eg, happiness, danger, greed). My superpower is being able to live at the intersection by harnessing these elements! 🧠

I'm a trained engineer who decided to pursue a career in marketing to make the most of this superpower. However, since my graduation, I've been formulating and implementing strategies involving email marketing, PPC, SEO, content marketing and much more. Most of these campaigns have been ROI-positive in diverse industries such as crypto, finance, sports betting, and many more. 📈✔️

Since 2021, I have gone all in on the Web3 space. Since then, my highlights include;

People panic sold their bags.

🗓️ March 1
Retaliatory strikes across 7 Arab countries.
Gold jumps 9% overnight, Oil🛢️ up 6% while Asian and European stocks open deep red 🩸 
The kind of red that makes you close the app.

🗓️ March 2
New Iranian🇮🇷 leadership said "The gates stay shut until the aggression ends."
Crude blasts past $80 and is still rising. 
European natural gas spikes 28% and energy suddenly feels very real and very fragile

🗓️ March 3
Missiles flying both ways now with Iran🇮🇷 and Israel🇮🇱 trading direct hits.
Dollar and Swiss franc surge while everything else burns. 
Just absolutely burning.

🗓️ March 4
UN talks collapse. No deal. No path forward.
Shipping insurance rates 3x overnight.

5 days that's all it took.

I keep coming back to the tankers. 

All those ships, full of oil, just sitting there not moving because moving might mean not coming back. 

I don't have a clever market take or a trading strategy but this just feels like one of those moments where you realize how fast things can break and how little control anyone actually has.
