My daughter finished her 22 college applications and the season we are in is of a great pause. She's waiting. 
Waiting can be the worst. The limbo periods can feel so unsettling. Because the thing is you don't really always know what to do during this time. For her, grades still matter. And when you have a strong work ethic, you're committed to play all out no matter what's happening or who's watching. And I keep reminding her of this:

Do all you can so you can feel proud of yourself at the end of the day. And at the same time, let go of the outcomes. You can't control them anyways. 

Recruiters, I see you.  If you're feeling a delay, a pause, a hesitation or any trepidations in your business right now- if you haven't gotten paid, if placements changed their mind, if clients are dragging their feet to commit, if you're questioning yourself, your process, if you're panicked or experiencing doubt- keep working the process. LinkedIn changed something big this year and most recruiters haven’t caught on yet.
Since spring 2025, the algorithm has been testing your content inside topic clusters before it ever reaches your full audience. To be clear, not your followers or connection- clusters.

There is no way that a lot of recruiters know this information about the new LinkedIn algorithm update. Because day in and out, I see these 3 blaring errors. 


LinkedIn algorithm now has quality and authenticity FILTERS now. It's not just about the feel or 'vibe' of the post. These filters detect the following things:
-Structure duplication
-Synthetic and inauthentic tones
-AI-generated visuals

Using the tools doesn't mean you're going to be successful in your content. You need the right strategy and right process.
