Managed all communication and public relations for the Town using a variety of communication mediums such as Internet, video and traditional media outreach. Oversaw redevelopment of website to improve design, usability and content, resulting in a year-over-year increase in web site traffic.

Placed stories in national newspapers including a front page story in The Chicago Sun-Times and an in-depth article on the organization and its issues in The Los Angeles Times.

Working closely with the Senior Leadership, Business Development, and People Ops Teams, I owned our brand strategy and media execution focusing on positioning, messaging and awareness.

I was also a founding Board Member of the ebbo Employee Resource Group (ERG) focused mainly on DEI communications.

Wolfski's was an award-winning food business specializing in Pol-"ish" comfort food.

In addition to its brick-and-mortar storefront, its mobile kitchen could be found at events and breweries throughout Connecticut.

The idea was to build a brand based on a sense of welcomeness and community that was inspired by my grandparents who immigrated to the United States from Poland after World War 2, working extremely hard and helping other immigrants find their place in the new world as well.

By taking my grandmother's traditional recipes and making them more accessible by putting an American spin on them, Wolfski's was able to create a large community in a relatively short time period using mostly social media. (Buffalo chicken pierogi, anyone?)

Wolfski's was a great experience not just in terms of marketing but building a business and running all of its day-to-day operations.

Trivium Branding was a small marketing agency that focused on helping local businesses look like million dollar brands without needing million dollar company budgets. 

The company specialized in creating meaningful brand identities, developing marketing strategies and building beautiful and easy-to-use WordPress websites that business owners could update themselves.

Simoniz USA, Inc.

Simoniz USA manufactures, markets and sells a diverse product line covering commercial vehicle washing chemicals and equipment, professional vehicle detailing products, retail vehicle appearance products and janitorial / institutional cleaning chemicals and equipment. It is the oldest brand of vehicle cleaning products in the world.

Working directly under the Retail Division President, and occasionally the CEO for special projects, this was a dual role position where I was responsible for all retail marketing and operations efforts. I not only brought new product ideas to the table but I also completely oversaw production of products from sourcing to finished products landing in our distribution centers.

- Led a complete rebrand of the retail division, including brand identity, tone, packaging, business development assets and show displays. This also included the brand's first direct-to-consumer website that included DIY content like product how-to videos and other content.

- Supported the Business Development team by developing B2B marketing efforts including product catalogs, retailer-specific and private label packaging, trade show materials and sales decks for prospects and customers including Walmart, AutoZone and Pep Boys which led to.

 - Worked with our International Division to develop a complete product line for the growing international market.

- Collaborated directly with the CEO, Commercial Car Wash Division leadership, and Professional Detailing Division leadership to develop a unique ceramic polymer paint protection and warranty system for the used car market.

- Managed and improved all day-to-day retail operations including forecasting, sourcing raw materials and services, cost analysis, procurement, production management, managing contract packagers, vendor relations, logistics, regulatory compliance and overall project management.

As a freelance editor, I both pitched stories and was assigned stories to cover in the automotive industry.

This included traveling to automotive events to take photos and write stories as well as smaller writeups that I was assigned. I was responsible for editing my articles and photos and submitting work that was ready to publish.

Ground Up is one of the largest suppliers of classic automobile restoration parts and accessories.

As the company's first-ever Marketing hire, I had the opportunity to grow with the company and build the Marketing team, eventually working my way up to Marketing Director. Working directly under the CEO, I was responsible for Marketing, Product Development and Creative.

- Led all marketing initiatives including strategy, branding, managing five e-commerce websites, social media, SEO, advertising campaigns, annual product catalogs, event planning, trade shows, community events and public relations.

- Responsible for product research and development and managed over 100,000 SKU's while building and maintaining excellent relationships with domestic and international vendors.

- Maintained a working knowledge of Adobe design tools and managed our in-house Marketing / Creative team which included product photography, video, ad and banner creative, print catalog design and all branded materials.
