How I build my LinkedIn audience:

(And how you can do it for $0.)

Most people overcomplicate LinkedIn.

Myself included.

For a very long time, I thought I needed:

Hacks.
Templates.
Shiny AI tools.

But after building my audience for almost 3 years, now I know…

It’s way simpler than I thought.

1/ Clarify the core idea

If you can’t explain your point in one breath, your audience won’t understand it either.

2/ Study audience patterns

Study the behavior of your audience. What they respond to. What they ignore. What they save. Patterns > guesses.

3/ Turn ideas into assets

Build concepts, not content. Ideas that become carousels, one-pagers, text-only posts, videos — one idea, multiple formats.

4/ Write from decisions

Write from decisions, not advice. Share choices you made, what led to them, and what changed. Decisions show how you think. Advice shows nothing.

5/ Reduce cognitive load

Assume your audience is busy and decisive. Make your content and visuals easy to consume and impossible to miss.

6/ Build a repeatable system

Create systems that support consistency: ideation → drafting → design templates → publishing.

7/ Anchor everything to your POV

Build everything from your point of view. Not trends. Not what performs. Your POV is the brand.

8/ Document your journey

Share the mistakes, pivots, and process. People don’t connect with perfect, they connect with flaws.

9/ Repeat yourself

If you’re not getting bored with repeating yourself enough, you’re not repeating yourself enough.

Use your time and your brain.
