You've scrolled this far down so you're probably curious to know who I am, or just really bored. Here's a bio I wrote, with my own two hands, using the first person.  

I've worn many labels throughout my career: marketer, copywriter, manager, advertiser, funnel hacker, designer, community organizer, and even leader. I've worn them all with pride and responsibility.

I've moved through different industries and mediums, different team sizes and job titles, different sales strategies and customer profiles, B2C, B2B, C2C, C2B, B2C2B...

And while I suppose it doesn't bode well with your typical "niching-down" advice, the one thing that I do specialize in, is doing things that bring me joy. We spend a third of our awake adult life at work, might as well enjoy it. I certainly do.

Aside from the list you see below, I'm currently testing my love for words by doing creative non-fiction writing and training for an ironman in 2024.

Most positioning advice for founders follows the same playbook: dominate your category, crush competition, aggressive outbound, close harder, scale faster.

But here's what I've learned across 10+ years in finance as a fund analyst, investor, tech sales and startup operator, launching business during Ukraine's wartime economy — sitting on every side of the business table:

Complex B2B buying happens through trust and attraction, not aggressive pursuit.

THE PROBLEM I SOLVE

You've tried repositioning 2-3 times. Sales cycles are longer than you expected given your product quality. CAC keeps rising despite optimisation. Prospects say "interesting" but don't commit. Something is off, but you can't pinpoint what.

The issue isn't the tactics. It's the architecture of your positioning and communication.

For over a decade, I've built relationships in the most competitive, high-stakes environments—hedge funds, startups, and venture capital—where the right words can open billion-dollar doors. I've sat across from hedge fund managers, HNW investors, and tech founders, raising capital, closing deals, and building partnerships.

And through all of it, one thing has been clear: positioning and communication determine whether you win or get forgotten.

Wrench Attack - Data Breaches Have Physical Consequences. 

Ledger confirmed this week that customer names, addresses, emails, phone numbers and order details were exposed in a third-party breach at payment processor Global-e.

No seed phrases were compromised.

But that's not the point anymore.

The breach links real-world identities to proof of crypto-related purchases in a single dataset. Your home address. Your full name. Evidence you own a hardware wallet.

This is the fourth major breach in five years affecting crypto holders.

Ledger 2020. LastPass 2022. Trezor 2024. Coinbase 2025. Now Ledger again.

2025 became a record year for wrench attacks - physical assaults on crypto holders using coercion instead of hacking. At least 65 documented cases. The true number is likely far higher.

In January, Ledger co-founder David Balland was kidnapped from his home in France. Criminals demanded ransom.

In British Columbia, court documents revealed in November detailed a family held hostage overnight. The victim was tortured. His family assaulted. Two million dollars in Bitcoin was drained from their accounts.

In late 2025, a San Francisco tech investor was tied up at g*npoint in his home by an assailant posing as a delivery driver and forced over roughly an hour to transfer about $11 million in Bitcoin and Ethereum from his wallets.

Criminals aren't hacking wallets. They're using leaked data to find where you live, confirm you hold crypto, and apply physical force.

These datasets don't expire. The 2020 Ledger and 2022 LastPass dumps still circulate. Attackers combine old breaches with new ones to build complete profiles.

You need professionals who understand both digital forensics and executive protection. Firms that can assess your exposure, design multi-party custody models, and implement physical security protocols.

This is not hypothetical. It is happening now.

You need to take specific steps to address physical security alongside your digital controls. Are you aware?
