I have directed three independent cancer institutes, collectively representing 17 hospitals and 12 cancer centers.  I am a hematologist and medical oncologist who has been the institutional principal investigator on nearly 100 clinical trials involving breast cancer, myeloma, prostate cancer, lung cancer, melanoma, ovarian cancer, head and neck cancer, myelodysplastic syndrome, CLL, DLBCL, esophageal cancer, etc.  I was on three papers published in The New England Journal of Medicine (prostate cancer, chronic neutrophilic leukemia, lung cancer) and two in Lancet (Shingles vaccine and head and neck cancer).  I am board certified in hematology, medical oncology, internal medicine, and artificial intelligence in medicine.

I resisted the trend towards subspecialization in my career as I feel ideation often happens at the level of the forest, not the trees.  Many of the greatest future innovations will be at the interface of various disciplines. 

My area of clinical expertise is precision medicine, and my ability to treat patients in all hematology/medical oncology disciplines uniquely positions me to sequence molecular-based therapies in the context of conventional therapy and clinical trials.

I am the CEO and Founder of three companies:  CancerClarity, CancerLight, and Revolution Cancer Medical Care PLLC.  We are early in our development as we hope to disrupt the clinical trial, patient education, and clinical care forums.  Aside from building my two companies, I am a consulting medical director for 2 phase 1 Xbiotech clinical trials (pancreatic cancer), consult for numerous other pharmaceutical companies, and see patients full-time in the clinic as a hematologist/medical oncologist.  I recently turned down several high-visibility positions to pursue my vision.

My singular focus is to help as many people as I can in the shortest time frame possible.

In 2025, more than $4.8B flowed into #neurotech, while brain–computer interfaces, blood-based Alzheimer’s tests, and living-neuron systems advanced into clinical trials, primary care, and commercial platforms...

This snapshot of the neurotech landscape, by the Where Tech Meets Bio team, shows how the field is organizing around clinical reality, data scale, and system design:

👉 BCIs are aligning around defined endpoints. Programs from Neuralink, Synchron, and Paradromics are structured around speech restoration, home use, and regulatory milestones, shaping how these systems enter care settings.

Noninvasive BCIs are advancing through dataset scale and model design. Large EEG and MEG collections, consumer-grade validation, and language-focused decoding indicate sustained investment in accessibility and deployability.

Neurodiagnostics are moving earlier in the care pathway. Blood-based Alzheimer’s assays from Roche position primary care as the entry point for downstream imaging and therapeutic decisions.

Organoids and biocomputing are becoming operational platforms. Standardized atlases, automated culture systems, and commercial biological computers from Cortical Labs clarify how living neural systems are being incorporated into research and development workflows.

Funding patterns span multiple architectures. Capital in 2025 flowed across implanted, vascular, ultrasound-based, noninvasive, and data-driven neurotech platforms, reflecting parallel exploration across the design space.
