Even as a serial sales rep throughout school, I never considered a career in sales as a viable option.

I had resigned myself to the reality that teaching was my calling and that sales was just a means to pay the rent until I graduated.

That all changed when I attended a dinner my brother was hosting for his closest friends.

The topic of what I planned to do came up and there was an overwhelming amount of support to seriously consider the field of sales.

That night, without a business degree, I worked up the courage to apply to some of the perceived best sales organizations we had discussed.

To my surprise, companies began to reach out and I haven't looked back since.

Now, I am here to help others, in a similar position find their calling.

Working in the trenches, leading teams, or advising companies on their growth objectives.

I'm excited to give back and help those who may look to forge a similar path.

My first message to a prospect is typically a direct pitch and my response rate is insanely high.

Hear me out. I sell into the c-suite / v-suite.

I am comfortable going this route because I know it will be different than every other “pitch” they get today.

And to be fair, they do not have time to build a relationship or have a coffee chat with you to then find out in 2 months that you really just wanted to sell them something. They were hired to make decisions and more organizations forward, they actually don't mind being sold to and they appreciate revenue generating activities and sellers doing their job appropriately. 

Here is why my DM hits different than other sellers (now founder):

I care.
I’ve researched them and their business.
I’ve identified pain.
I have a solution.
I find something we have in common.
I have shown up on their feed.
I give/show them something they didn't know.
I have a best path via sales nav.
I have engaged with their content.

Example - (this is normally a video message, casual while walking outside)

Alright, I know how busy you are so I’m getting to the point.

I was listening to the earnings call last week and noticed the CEO mentioning a decline in meetings booked by the sales and marketing teams, went on to mention economic climate and competitors making their way into the space - mentioned a couple by name.

This led me to a little deep dive this morning into this topic and I noticed something that would make immediate impact. You have 73 sellers across the US and only 4 have created content on LinkedIn in the last 30 days. But the even harder thing to see was that out of the 14 sellers I looked into, none had engaged with your prospective customers content. The CISO of one of your biggest potential accounts made a post last week mentioning the exact problem you all solve and not one of your reps were engaging and dropping meaningful comments. Big miss.
