I made the same mistake at the peak of my corporate career.

I thought a strong results, and internal credibility

Because loyalty doesn’t protect you anymore.

AI eliminates roles. Restructuring is constant. And the longer you stay invisible in one company, the harder it is to pivot when you’re forced to.

I’m not saying quit your job.

I’m saying build Career Autonomy WHILE you’re employed.

So when the time comes(and it will)you have options.

Most people ignore “feeling invisible at work.”

They think: “It’s fine. I’m still getting my paycheck.”

The difference?

Internal visibility keeps you employed.

External visibility gives you options.


Where are your profile visits coming from?

The last ten days fundamentally altered the rhythm of our lives.

The disruptions we are experiencing now remind me of how deeply interconnected we truly are.

My days are usually spent helping leaders find their voice, build their presence, and navigate corporate challenges. 

But this week, the conversations have shifted. 

I have spoken with brilliant professionals who are struggling to focus, leaders who are trying to project strength while quietly managing their own anxieties, and expatriates who are constantly checking their phones for news from home or worrying about the safety of their loved ones.

We often talk about "bringing our whole selves to work," but what does that mean when our whole selves are exhausted, worried, and grieving?

In my 15 years of professional experience, I have learned that true leadership is not about having all the answers or maintaining a facade of invulnerability. 

It is about holding space for the uncomfortable realities. 

It is about acknowledging that it is okay if productivity is not at 100% right now. 

It is about looking at the person across the table (or the screen) and recognizing their humanity before their job title.

The human disruption is what requires our immediate attention. 
We cannot simply "business as usual" our way through this.

To the leaders reading this: 
Your teams are watching how you respond. 

They don't need you to solve the geopolitical crisis. 
They need you to show empathy. 
They need you to offer flexibility. 

They need you to say, "I know this is hard, and I am here to support you."

To the professionals feeling overwhelmed: 
Your silence right now is not a sign of weakness; it is a natural response to trauma and uncertainty. 
But please, do not isolate yourself. 
Reach out to your network, lean on your colleagues, and give yourself the grace to process what is happening.

Resilience does not mean ignoring the pain; it means moving through it together.

Check on your colleagues. 
Be patient with your clients. 

And above all, be kind to yourselves.

Being the smartest person in the room means nothing if you don't speak up.

If you can't express your idea at the right moment, in the right way it's as if you never had it at all.

Seems like the world just turned upside down over the weekend.

I was in the Middle East,

Took a flight to Mexico for a friend's wedding.

I landed and saw the news.

Tbh, I am really grateful for having the opportunity to wake up everyday and build this life.

You will never succeed in life if you avoid risk.

When I was 25, I moved to Colombia alone.

- I didn’t know Spanish
- I didn’t have friends
- It was a brand new culture for me

I went anyway. And it changed my life.

In 2021, I paid a business coach $15,000 for one hour of his time.

People told me it was the dumbest financial decision I’d ever make.

That single call helped me build a seven-figure business.

Remember this:

Success requires uncertainty.

Risk is the price of a bigger life.

If you need guarantees before you act, you’ve already decided to stay average.

The moment you stop playing it safe is the moment your life actually starts.

“Pay me $15,000 and I’ll show you exactly what I’m doing with my business.” 

In 2021, 

I met a 24-year-old entrepreneur who was doing over $300,000 per month with his business. 

He ran a coaching business like mine.

Yet, 

His numbers were blowing mine out of the water.

So I reached out to him and asked him to show me what he’s doing.

He said sure, for $15,000 for an hour of his time. 

At the time, that wasn’t “comfortable” money for me.

I felt my stomach drop when he said the price. 

But I knew for a fact that I wasn’t going to get my business to where I wanted to be without learning from him.

So I pulled that trigger. 
 
I didn’t tell anyone about it either.

I knew they were going to tell me it was a terrible idea.

- “Are you crazy?”
- “This is financially irresponsible.”

Regardless,

I transferred him in full. 

Over the next 60 days, I made $100,000 in my business. 

That 1-hour coaching call didn’t just change my strategy.

It changed my identity.

I became the guy who was willing to give to get what he wants. 

The gap between where you are and where you want to be is usually one uncomfortable decision.

Attention coaches on LinkedIn,

Read this carefully. 

The biggest reason coaches are not getting buyers on LinkedIn is because their content doesn’t activate buying intent.

As a result:

- Low engagement
- Nobody buying
- Only people talking to you are trying to sell you things

In 2026, there’s a minimum standard of content that must be met to convert into clients.

I asked this university student whether LinkedIn is underrated or overrated. 

Her answer really surprised me.

When I was 22 and graduated university, most of my friends went traveling.

- Thailand.
- Bali.
- Asia for three months.

Questioning whether I made the wrong decision.

And I don’t need to “escape” my life, I designed it.

Most people optimize for now.

Very few optimize for later.

Timelines are a choice.

I stopped university students on the street and asked where they’d build a business: LinkedIn or Instagram.

Their answers caught me off guard.

Last week I cancelled my sales calls. 

Instead, I hosted a private coaching session and capped it at 11 coaches.

For 60 minutes, I broke down their content live.

I evaluated:

- Where their content was weak
- Why it wasn’t built to convert

And then I showed them:

- How to get buyers activated via content
- How to get convert them into paying clients 

After the call, one coach said:

“That was the most valuable breakdown I’ve ever received.”

Two joined my program immediately.  

For that reason,

I am doing it again this week.

In 2019,

I published a LinkedIn post talking about the “Toronto food scene.”

It gained insane traction.

- Thousands of likes

Yet, not a single buyer for my services.

You get paid for how well you play the game.

There are coaches on LinkedIn working hard.

- Posting consistently.
- Giving value.
- Sharing tips and frameworks.

They’re putting in real effort.

And they’re still stuck at 1 client per month.

Then there are others who post less frequently, but bring in $20k/month consistently. 

Same industry.

Similar skill level.

Very different results.

Because business is a positioning game.

If you don’t control how you’re perceived, the market decides for you.

If you show up as “helpful,” people appreciate you.

If you show up as the authority, people pay you.

I asked these university students if they believed LinkedIn is necessary for their career after they graduate.

Listen to their response.

“Nice guys finish last” is true.

Especially on LinkedIn. 

Nice content finishes last.

Nice content gets:

- Likes
- Polite comments
- Surface-level engagement

It makes people feel good, but doesn’t make them act.

“Buyer-generating content” does something different.

- It gets your buyers activated
- It makes them “want” to purchase from you

That’s why some coaches have 20,000 followers and no consistent income.

Yet, others have 3,000 followers and make $30k per month. 

Make this your #1 priority.

I asked university students if LinkedIn or Instagram was better for building a business.

Their answer will surprise you.

Most coaches build an audience that can’t afford them.

They post “value” content.
- Tips. 
- Frameworks.
- Strategy.

And they attract people who love to consume it. 

That’s the problem.

Free-value content trains your audience to stay in consumption mode, not buying mode.

Remember this,

Serious buyers act.

If your messaging doesn’t speak to transformation and outcomes,

You’ll build an audience that loves you but never purchases.
