In this role, I was accountable for leading the development and execution of short and mid-term strategies and performance for Supplier Management. This entailed identifying and prioritizing budgeting and resource planning for Supplier Management resources to support business objectives and key initiatives within my team's scope. In addition, I was responsible for people leadership activities, including recruiting, performance management, people development, and technical development to deliver outcomes across my scope.

I successfully led the delivery of five PPAP projects, which led to a 20-day reduction in the onboarding time of suppliers. From October 2017 to March 2018, I facilitated the supply of defect-free tower supplies, and from December 2017 to March 2018, 98% of the tower supplies were defect and complaint-free. Furthermore, I contributed to an 18% cost savings on Tower Child Parts, reduced welding defects by 5% by establishing a Traceability System, and reduced the in-site complaints resolution time from 20 to 7 days.

To streamline operations, I introduced a hydraulic work station on the shop floor for flanges assembly with tower shells, which saved 8 hours of assembly time. I also reduced the assembly time by 5 working hours and minimized the flange tilt variation across suppliers. My efforts were recognized by the Corporate QA team with appreciation for improvements in painting quality on tower and generator parts in 2017.
 Efficiently executed FIFO system and traceability management in stores for consumables issue.
 Reduced project complaints resolution time by 14 days to 7 days by fostering collaborating with stakeholder

Manager – Supplier Quality Assurance

I started my career as a Senior Engineer then I climbed my way up in position as an Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager, and Manager, Supplier Quality.

In my previous position, I successfully reduced shop floor quality complaints from 12% to 5%, and I oversaw the supply of defect-free Nacelle parts, towers, and child parts for three consecutive years from 2014 to 2016. Additionally, I completed projects on time that minimized inspections for international suppliers of forged ring flanges in South Korea.

As a key contributor to process improvement, I reduced machining time by 1 hour each through a 5mm reduction in the diameter flange thickness. I also took the lead in implementing a Six Sigma Green Belt project to minimize welding process defects.

To further enhance efficiency, I directed the installation of air conditioners inside paint stores and implemented the FIFO method to issue paints from the store to the paint shop. Additionally, I improved welding processes for child parts from SMAW to FCAW, saving 3 hours of welding time. Further, I developed templates and drill jigs for machined component inspection, reducing inspection time by 2 hours and inspection frequency to 50%.

 Achieved 100% defect free supplies w.r.t.Towers & Nacelle machined parts FY ’10 -’12, & ’15 -’16.
 Attained 100% reduction in the site complaints via root cause analysis and by regular project visits.
