ok so let's say I woke up today & suddenly no longer a data analyst. 
here's exactly what i'd do 👇

1. learn excel, sql, tableau. that's it. not every tool. just those 3.
2. explore data titles. there's way more than just "data analyst"
3. build projects. project experience is still experience
4. create a portfolio. projects that nobody can see don't count
5. fix your resume & linkedin. that's literally all recruiters see
6. apply. a lot. like 100+ applications a lot
7. ignore interviews… until you actually get one. then cram.
 
that's the whole roadmap.
rinse + repeat 
 
and honestly? if i did those 7 things consistently i genuinely think i'd get hired.

Been thinking about the future of data analytics a lot w/ the rise of AI. Personally, I'm not scared - but I'm watching very closely. Here's what I think the future may look like: 

I think most white-collar jobs will look fairly different, eventually. Maybe not in the next 1-3 years, but in the next 5+. For those in data + tech, an abstraction layer is being built. 

I think software development is the best example. You use to program in 1's and 0's. Now it's syntax and functions. Soon it will be mostly via natural language. 

Data will be similar. We forget the history of data analytics. 11 years ago, Power BI didn't even exist. Tableau was still new. Want a dashboard? That will be $20,000 and hundreds of hours. 

Soon you'll just dictate what you want your dashboard to look like. So, elephant in the room is this question. Does that mean data analyst jobs are dead?

I don't think so. I think they'll just change. You'll use different tools. You'll do different work. But here's the biggest change everyone is going to need to process.

How to do things matters less and less.
What to do and when to do it matters more and more. 

Pause. Please reread it. 

I think it's important to understand...


We will live in a world where agents in 5+ years will be able to almost do anything we want. But knowing what we should do and when, that will be the key. 

-> You need to learn to think as a Data Analyst more
-> You need to analyze like a Data Analyst less

Will AI take over data analyst jobs? 

I don't think so. But it will change how we work. Big time. And honestly, it's a good thing. Instead of memorizing SQL commands, you'll just tell it what you need, and boom, it's done. Instead of spending all the time on producing code, you can actually spend your time analyzing more. 

More efficiency. Less busy work. 

Don't be afraid of AI.
Leverage it.

☝️ The #USA Trump Administration has asked Ukraine for help intercepting #drones from #Iran

The same administration that cut off #Ukraine’s weapons. That humiliated Zelensky in the Oval Office. That called him a dictat0r.

That parroted Russian talking points for months, and still does.

🎙 And despite all of that, Zelensky now said yes - but only if it doesn’t hurt Ukraine’s fight against Russia.

Meaning, as long as any support provided will not be to the expense of Ukraine’s own war effort.

Who has the cards now?

Is JD Vance going to say thank you?

☝️ NATO member states shooting down #drones and missiles for non-allies in the Middle East while refusing to do the same for #Ukraine is sheer hypocrisy.

But we won't solve things by only complaining about what #NATO didn't do yesterday.

We can only make things better...by being and doing better today.

☝️ I don't think the #Olympics realize the meaning that bl00d soaked flag being waved at the #Paralympics - by russian soldiers no less.

This is the flag that started the biggest war in #Europe since WWII.
The biggest war of our time - if we're lucky.

Most participant nations objected to its use - far beyond #Ukraine alone. Even the russian opposition (as impotent as it may be) has already abandoned this flag. So why choose to wave it now? 
 
🚨 The flag means 𝐚𝐠𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, cities razed to the ground
It represents 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡 , 𝐫**𝐞 and 𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐭 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐬 of little kids. 

I've seen it. You've seen it. 

We've all seen the 𝐰𝐚𝐫 𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬 committed under this flag broadcasts in HD for almost 4 years straight now.

You can't possibly pretend not to see. 

Yet the #IOC still pretends not to see.

And this #Sports event that once again chooses to whitewash gen0cidal regimes will bear the shame for decades to come.

🎙️ Current chaos in the world is a direct consequence of the Russian attack on #Ukraine, said #Italy Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.

"The explosive situation in the Middle East and #drones in the skies over Cyprus are not separate conflicts, but a direct result of the destruction of international law.

It all started in Ukraine, when Russia, a permanent member of the #UN Security Council, cynically vi0lated the borders of a neighboring country and signaled to the entire world that the rules no longer apply," Meloni remarked in an interview with Tg5.

The war in #Europe is already underway, and to consider these events "distant" is a dangerous illusion. Without restoring the rule of international #law, which has been destroyed in Ukraine, the chaos will only worsen, she added.

Glad Meloni realized it.

But why is her support for Ukraine almost nonexistent?

"Putin will get us war with #Ukraine !"
🎙️ 2014, a speech that predicted the nightmare.

This is Boris Nemtsov speaking in 2014. Right after the "little green men" showed up in #Crimea. Years before the full scale madness we are seeing now.

Nemtsov was one of the few who had the guts to call it exactly what it was from day one: a cynical, desperate power grab by a man who would rather burn both countries down than give up his seat. More than just being "anti-war", Nemtsov realized that putin’s obsession with Ukraine would eventually turn Russia into a pariah and bring nothing but c0ffins back to Russian mothers.

The most haunting part? 🤔 
He delivered this at the March of Peace in Moscow.

Less than a year later, he was sh0t on the Bolshoy Moskvoretsky Bridge, literally in the shadow of the Kremlin.

They silenced him because he was right. And because he was not afraid to say that the madness would not stop at the border.

If you want to understand how we got to this point, you have to read what Boris was screaming from the rooftops back when the world was still trying to "reason" with the Russian dictat0r:

"What will this putin end up with, tell me! What will he get? He’s going to get Ukraine as an enemy!

All the way, people ask me: 'Why did you come to this march, the march of peace and freedom? Why?' I say, 'Because I'm a patriot of the country, because I'm against the war. I don't want cargo 200 to come here in Moscow, in Yaroslavl, in Nizhny Novgorod. That our mothers, our wives and children cry. I don't want that.

I believe we have no right to behave this way in relation to a friendly country. This is meanness, this is impudence, and most importantly, this is to the detriment of Russia.

I've been thinking for a long time about what arguments putin has to behave in such a way, any arguments at all. The simplest answer is: he is a 𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐤 man. He is a very mentally 𝐢𝐥𝐥 man. The Serbsky Institute, Kaschenko, doctors, orderlies, injections from morning till night. That’s what he needs.

And then I thought: no, he’s not just a  𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐤 man. He is also a cynical and despicable man. He wants, using this operation to occupy and annex Crimea, he wants to rule us forever.

We have to say no to war. We must say 'no more' to madness. We must say, 'Russia and Ukraine without putin! Russia and Ukraine without putin.'

And lastly: Glory to Russia! Glory to Ukraine! Russia will be free! Thank you very much!"

Nemtsov was a former Deputy Prime Minister turned opposition leader. His assassinati0n on February 27, 2015, remains one of the most high profile political кillings in modern russian #history.

This speech is the moment he became "too dangerous" for putin to ignore.

☝️ What sad is that the world knew that Putin had him кilled and did nothing. Nothing. #Europe just bought more gas and Obama ignored the illegal Crimean grab. 

Shame on us too.

We in the West  like to talk about #inclusivity and such.

Ukraine is living all those ideals we hold dear while under fire.

❗ Anticipating he'll lose power next #Elections Orbán is now planning a false flag attack on Hungarian #Energy to frame Ukraine for it and declare Martial Law in response,

Viktor Orbán ordered the Hungarian military deployed to guard “key energy facilities,” citing a possible #Ukraine “attack” to disrupt Hungary’s energy system. The move fuels fears of a staged national #security emergency or false-flag incident ahead of the April 12 elections.

Hungarian analysts and several #EU diplomats in Budapest fear Orbán may be triggering a long-rumored worst-case scenario: using a fabricated national security threat to crack down on the opposition or even cancel the election.

We’re not there yet, and his team will strongly deny it — but this military deployment puts that scenario into play.

📊 All this comes the same day a respected pollster published a survey showing the opposition leading Orbán’s ruling party 55% to 35% — a gap virtually impossible to close under democratic conditions.

The more noise we make about it now the less likely he can get away with it.

Millions of Ukrainians didn’t raise a white flag. But defended blue and yellow.

Russians thought they would be welcomed with flowers. But they only saw more people going to fight them.

Civilians were blocking Russian tanks as a living wall.

When Ukraine first blew up Russian oil refineries, everyone saw it as a miracle.

Now it’s a normal thing. 

What we thought was impossible is now a tradition.

This is not because of some divine intervention, some act of mercy or external savior,

This is because of the People of Ukraine.

📣 𝐅𝐚𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐦 doesn’t sneak up on you. It boasts in your face about war, attacking "internal enemies" and the free press, taking total power, and tells you that you must embrace it, not fight it.

Consolidating and purging free #media into loyal hands is the playbook of Putin, and so many dicтatoгs who came before him.

And they'll call it "reshaping the media..."

4️⃣ Four years of full-scale war.
And Four years of #Information War.

On February 24, 2022, Russia invaded #Ukraine not only with tanks and missiles. That day, its #propaganda machine was fully unleashed too.

In the occupied territories, Russia creates an information gheтто: shutting down Ukrainian broadcasting, blocking #communication and leaving people in complete information isolation.

📣 In captivity, war propaganda becomes a tool of coercion. Ukrainian soldiers are forced to watch Kremlin news, recite liєs, and appear in staged videos.

For Russia, information is as much a weapon as its missiles - and its propagandists are war criminals all the same.

Meanwhile we in the West continue to pretend we're not in an information war - while our enemies are already on the offense with guпs blazing.
