In high pressure moments, I smile and relax. Sounds simple, but it works.

If my mind won't quiet, I use 4-7-8 breathing. Inhale through my nose for 4 seconds. Hold it for 7 seconds. Exhale for 8 seconds.

It slows my heart rate, calms my nervous system. Paired with smiling and relaxing, it brings me back to center.
